Saigon Spring Rolls

Unfortunately my review is not as positive as I would’ve liked. Service is fine, atmosphere is nothing special, and most importantly the banh mi and drink. The prices are a little higher and not worth it in my opinion also the bread doesn’t feel fresh. However I do recommend the Original banh mi as it’s the best tasting on the menu and the most affordable. The drink(mojito lime,mint) alone was $7 and personally not my favourite or worth the money. I would go back for the original Banh Mi.

I ordered the Saigon sticky rice on Uber today with an instruction for that “no Chinese Sausage”. I received the order WITH the sausage. The worst thing was the sausage had been over reheated to black and dry (it should be red as a regular color). The restaurant shouldn’t serve the food like this. It is unacceptable! Never serve the food that you won’t eat to your customers who pay for it.

This was my second visit to Saigon Spring Rolls, and it certainly won’t be my last! I tried the shrimp and pork fresh roll and the mango coconut sticky rice—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors are fresh and vibrant, and the quality of the ingredients really stands out. Service was excellent, and the staff made me feel so welcome. If you’re in the area, you have to try their “Sexy Mango Monkey Coco” smoothie—trust me, you’ll thank me later! 👀🤭 Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving amazing Vietnamese cuisine.

Victor was incredibly kind from the moment I walked in. I love this place for a fresh affordable lunch. My go to is the fresh rolls. They truly have the best peanut sauce. (I would buy their peanut sauce in bulk just to add to daily recipes). I forgot my water bottle and asked for a cup of water. He went above and beyond and added ice and green tea into the water just to make it a little more enjoyable. It was very refreshing! I usually do take out, but this time I dined in. We had a very nice casual conversation and it was very welcoming and put a smile on my face. Definitely try the Bahn Mi, fresh rolls, and the veggie spring rolls. I also adore the coconut drink with the egg cream. Can't wait to try more!

A gem of a find! We found Saigon Spring Roll strolling down St Paul. We were hungry so thought “why not?” We ordered two bahn mi and some fresh spring rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious. It’s now going to be our go to place when we crave Vietnamese food. Next time we want to try the Vietnamese drinks. PS Any restaurant that has a poster of Anthony Bourdain and Obama eating Pho in Saigon is pretty cool.

The reviews for this place were very high so I had very high expectations. The food was okay. Some of it was microwaved (microwave is in the front of the store.) Everything was mediocre, needs more flavour. The spring rolls were not fresh or crunchy. Everything needed more flavour, it was too light. The restaurant itself is very clean and bright, it has a very nice atmosphere. Also i got a boba which had a slight burn taste, as well as it being mushy towards the bottom. I hate to say i was disappointed as my standards for this place were high.

My experience with this place has absolutely been fabulous! From food to employee working here, it’s has been wonderful. As a Vietnamese, I can guarantee that the taste of the food here you get here is as close as you can get to authentic Vietnamese dishes. The employee here is always nice, welcoming and professional. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes to try asian dishes at reasonable price!
