It was extremely disappointed with my New Year's Eve experience at this Arabic restaurant in Toronto. Despite spending a lot of money and having high expectations for a special occasion, the restaurant failed to deliver a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers. Instead, they prioritized one group of people and one tradition, making the evening feel exclusive and unwelcoming for others. As a diverse city like Toronto, it's important for restaurants to be respectful of all cultures and backgrounds. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We Came for a birthday celebration, we were 12 people. Place is very nice and spacious. Wait staff were very friendly and helped us on what to order since it was the first time being there. We ordered the appetizer platter and the large mixed grill. Food was great Everyone enjoyed their meal, beautiful live music and dance floor would definitely come back to enjoy again.

Food and service were great, and the ambience was lively and full of energy. Also the belly dancers and the live performers were great. However, the music was overwhelmingly loud, to the point where it was difficult to have a conversation without shouting. At times, it felt like the volume was too intense, leaving our hearing a bit muffled even after we left. Additionally, the smoke from the shisha was quite heavy, which added to the discomfort. Ventilation wasn’t string enough for the amount of smoke. While the food and service were excellent, the excessively loud music and thick shisha smoke detracted from the overall experience.

The music is way too loud! I don’t understand why? This can really damage your hearing. It was definitely between 110-120 decibels. This is not a large space, there is no reason for this. Trying to enjoy your dinner and not being able to hear the people next to you. Insane. The food was also not that great. The only good thing were the drinks. First off, thanks for looking at my reviews and noticing my comment about classic. Second, don’t make it seem as if I’m targeting arab restaurants. I am arab and I do my reviews based on my experience. What I do know is the effects of noise induced hearing loss and the amount of the time one can spend in a loud environment based on the decibel levels. The main reason for the low rating was due to the food. But any way, maybe read the rest of your reviews and see the other complaints people have made due to the music being played way too loud.

Sahara on Dundas and 427 is a fantastic spot with an Instagram-friendly interior and a vibrant atmosphere. The Lebanese cuisine is delicious and perfectly cooked, adding to the overall dining experience. The bar area is well-maintained, offering a selection of cold beverages. The shisha is enjoyable and complements the lively vibe. With live music on weekends, DJ nights, and Latin nights on Wednesdays, there’s always something exciting happening. Given its popularity, making a reservation in advance is a good idea, as it tends to book up quickly. Highly recommended for a great night out! Thanks Ibrahim

9 friends & I went here for dinner and it was great. Lots of good food, great music & dancing, a real party atmosphere. But it is the only nice restaurant I have been to that does not provide water at the table. Bottled water is available for purchase though.

I recently visited Sahara Restaurant in and had a mixed experience. The party atmosphere was enjoyable and created a pleasant vibe for our gathering. However, the food did not meet our expectations. The dishes lacked the authentic flavors we were hoping for, and some items seemed under-seasoned. While the restaurant has potential, there is room for improvement in both the quality of food and the attentiveness of the service.
