Probably a mistake on my end to keep trying the spicy ramens, but the spiciness in this ramen overpowered it. Not as much as J7, but still unfortunately ruined the experience for me. Before you go “oh you just can’t eat spicy”, I eat 2x Buldak like it’s not spicy. From what little I can taste, the broth was pretty decent. I enjoyed the combination of toppings they had. The noodles were incredibly thick (although I did order thick noodles lol), just a heads up. Cheese cake was good but slightly overpriced. Will come back to try regular non spicy ramen for sure.

My friend and i went to Ryu's noodle bar on Broadview and it was amazing!! We got there around 6pm ish or earlier, sat indoors and it wasnt too busy, but with the nicer weather it does get busier and their backyard patio fills up pretty quick. On to the food; I ordered the Vegetarian Shoyu and my friend got the spicy tan tan men. The Veg Ramen had a good variety of veg, I loved the fungi and the broth wasn't too thick or salty. I found that the portion really kept you full as well, so you're definitely getting your money's worth. As for the tan tan men, their is a spicy kick to it, but I'm sure you can request different levels of the spiciness. The broth was very creamy and you could really taste the shrimp paste in their broth (really good smoky flavour) I truly recommend this place for amazing Ramen!!

Nice restaurant with back patio. I ordered a combo which is rice with beef curry + pop + spicy miso ramen = $32.5 Rice with beef curry - very tasty but very small portion. Spicy miso ramen - regular size, thick soup, not sure about the spice as it linger on my mouth like those Chinese hotpot.

The service is great and quick. I really enjoy how you can either order from the waitress or you can order from the QR code on the tables. Their broth is very different from other noodle places. Broths are a both thicker. Overall very great tasting. Noodles have a great taste to them as well. They also have an allergy restriction options on their online ordering system which is unique.

Ryus Noodle Bar has perhaps one of the best chicken-broth ramen in Toronto. The soup is creamy, rich, and full of flavor yet it is very well-balanced. The noodle has a great texture and chewiness to it, which is to my liking. The service was great and the staff members were friendly, courteous, and attentive. This ramen spot could get really busy with takeout and dine-in, so be prepare to wait. I am looking forward to visiting this place again!

My favorite spot for ramen in Toronto. This is legit Japanese food. When you arrive or leave the place, all the staff welcomes you and say goodbye in Japanese. Good food, good ramen (dry or with broth) and you can customize it by adding extra ingredients if the one you picked doesn't have it, for example: marinated egg, fried tofu (can never be enough), etc. They have seasonal ramen too. Oddly great red fruit sangria! Gyozas are also good. Very small-not fancy place (plastic cups), usually with a line but totally worth it food wise. It's more like a place where you just go and enjoy the food but won't stay too long (there are more people wanting your seat!).

So friendly and so good! The soup was so thick and the table next to us were from Hokkaido. They said it's legit! Second time around: they were cleaning with some really strong smelling cleaning agent while we were eating and it made the experience not as great.

Always busy, always worth the wait for the quality of ramen! The service is consistently great and they recently opened their hidden back patio as well. Definitely stopping by again and again! Great addition to the Broadview area. This location is very small and and well packed They have the tables facing outside to Broadview station (which comes with a call button for your convenience). They also have tables of pairs and can merge tables to fit larger crowds. Groups of 2, 4 or 6 tops would be optimal for coming here. They also do have the bar seating as well for individuals. Been coming here since Mar 2018 and the quality has not decreased nor the service for customers. We always stop by to make a pitstop at Ryus Noodle Bar especially when going to Danforth Music Hall. We order the usual of Miso Ramen and the Shoyu Ramen. From day one, the quality and presentation of both ramen have been consistently great and very delicious. It's great that they offer combo options like adding on gyozas or salad or even two toppings to appeal to those that want more. We've also tried the Veg Miso Potage Ramen which is vegetarian and feels like a blended vegetables to create the thick soup broth texture. Fun fact: This famous ramen place has gone through rigorous judging to be awarded a space in the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum in Yokohama, Japan (available to only two ramen restaurants not from Japan). The bowl that won them the spot was the Chicken Shio (Salt-Broth) Ramen which is a fusion of the Ontario chicken and traditional Japanese ingredients. Do note, during COVID they had really great clear dividers to keep up with COVID protocols.
