Ruth's Chris Steak House

Went to Ruth Chris (Dixon) to celebrate a bday based on a great experience at another location. However, this experience was a huge disappointment. The $98 medium well ribeye steak arrived WELL done…almost burnt actually. Manager checked in to ask how the food was and when we showed him the steak he suggested that maybe it was just charred on the outside but ok on the inside (I’m sorry, what??). Showed him the inside and he simply nodded in agreement and walked away. The server overheard the convo, took a look, and offered us a complimentary refill of rum and coke (seriously?), which turned out to be coke with ice (definitely little to no rum). The other items (calamari, lobster mac n cheese and salmon) were all great however, the overall experience was a huge disappointment considering this establishment is a steakhouse yet the steak was no up to par.

Thank you for making our corporate dinner a great experience for everyone. From the initial discussion to the day of the event, everything was smooth and well arranged. Thanks to Cathi for being so responsive, professional and guiding me throughout the planning stage. The event was a hit as the dinner was set in the private dining area. The servers (don't know their names) were responsive, and efficient to cater the needs of the group. Everyone loved the food, ambiance, the warmth and overall hospitality. All contributed in making the event the best and memorable for everyone. The food was made to the perfection showcasing the best culinary experience. I would like to extend heartfelt thank you to Ruth Chris team for making it a memorable dining experience for us.

Food and service was exceptional! Got the French onion soup, a whiskey sour, calamari, 16 oz ribeye, and potatoes au gratin. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Out of the blue stop as it was right beside our hotel and google reviews were decent. Our service was ok, we had to keep flagging down staff for drinks and to order our mains. The apps were delish , we ordered the crab cakes , stuffed mushrooms and shrimp cocktail. Staff was super quick to try to take our plates , I'd say ease off on that abit. The atmosphere was chill but if I did it again I would choose my seating differently as the bar area seemed more our style. The one lady in long sweater was the most personable. So for mains we asked if anything came with the steaks ...n we cldnt hear thr reply. My friend ordered medium fillet with 3 scallops ... the scallops were defiantly overpriced for the size , she was happy with her steak , came with a like friend potato Patty. Not enticing to look at . My filled with shrimp was supposed to be rare it was med rare at best , and way over salted...I'd take that down a notch , it overpowered the steak , but it was still melt in ur mouth. I would at least offer a seasonal vegetable with a $85+ steak. Or ur fries , I don't think adding fries for an additional $27 is acceptable. Overall we enjoyed our time but for over $500 I'd expect a little more personality, more attention to drinks and way less salt ! Cheers

This is 5 stars 🌟 we are so loving this place each time we visit. The food there was made by the best chefs in my mind . Always a treat to go here. We went for birthday 🎂 celebration and they had the table all nicely decorated with the little happy birthday stuff. I had the shrimp on a bed of really creamy Mashed potatoes and it is to die for . Wife had the steak with shrimp on top. Ohhh my god it was so moist and each shrimp was cooked to perfection no hard like some places. Manny who served us was very attentive and recommended a really good wine to go with the meal. The cake at the end with the candle was just such a treat as it was the most delicious pastry to finish off the meal. Ohh don't forget the salad both the Cesar salad and the salad with the pecans was just such a good way to start the meal. The Mojito was made to perfection and they did not skimp on any ingredients. Delicious steak! Came here and ordered the Porterhouse steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes as sides. The steak was to die for!!! It was cooked perfectly! The mashed potatoes were also very delicious. I am not a big money spender so it’ll probably be a long time until I revisit this place (if I had the money, I would definitely come here more often). Although the steak was amazing, I found the prices of the sides a too expensive. Steamed broccoli was $17 (and the amount of broccoli is about half a broccoli head). The mashed potatoes were $22 and the portion was also small. They topped off the night by giving me a free piece of cheesecake - which was just okay in my opinion. But overall - the porterhouse was AMAZING!

We celebrated my birthday at the airport Ruth’s Chris location, it was our first time dining there, from the moment we entered we were warmly greeted by the hostess, the manager Louisa and the staff as we were led to our dining area. Our server Danielle was exceptional, she went over and beyond to make our dining experience one to remember fondly, the manager came by to make sure that we were enjoying the cuisine and ambience. I would give this establishment a 10 star review if it was possible, we will definitely return and recommend this great location to my family, friends and acquaintances who are looking for an amazing dining experience!

I have nothing but good things to say about this location. The service was superb. We were well taken care of. The food? Wow. Amazing. The ribeye steak was super tender and so flavourful. The mashed potatoes were very creamy and the apple crumble for dessert had the flakiest and best tasting crust I've ever had. Definitely recommend. We were given two beautiful roses when we left for mother's day. Wonderful experience.
