Huge menu selection with pastas, pub fare, Thai, Indian. Loads of appetizer options. We had French Onion Soup and Halloumi Fries to start. Both were delicious. For our mains, I chose Butter Chicken and my wife had a Steak & Mushroom Pie. Generous portions! Absolutely terrific food. The pie was filled with large pieces of tender beef. Rich gravy. Massive pie. We took 3/4 of it home. My butter chicken was wonderful. The sauce was spicy without being overly so. Luxurious Tomato forward flavours. Roshan knows his way around the kitchen. We will return.

We have been to this restaurant twice. The first experience was not good, but we were part of a group so we went a second time. The language barrier is HUGE. To the point that you have to point at the items on the menu to order. Our server did not understand what rum was or what a lime was. My husband ordered fish and chips with side gravy and an appetizer of french onion soup. They substituted the soup for the fries and then still wanted to serve, and charge for, the side gravy. The miscommunication and lack of English skills continued at the till where you have to tell them what you ordered and again they do not understand and you have to repeatedly explain what you ordered. The owner I would have previously described as abrupt, but after our last experience I would change that to rude. The food is good, the menu extensive, but definitely not worth the lack of customer service.

Very surprised by this place. When we first walked in the hallway smells funky and the restaurant is bare bones but very clean. The menu is huge and very diverse. I had the chicken and shrimp pad Thai and was blown away. Large portion and a lot of meat. Priced reasonable will be coming back for more

If you are looking for a lengthy menu with endless options, generous portions with enough to share and doggy bags to take home, this is the place. The reviews about a particular server are absolutely correct, but we were so hungry we overlooked any issues. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals even though 2 of our 5 meals were incorrect because orders were taken by memory and not recorded. The food tasted so good and everyone else at the other tables seemed happy and satisfied too and were commenting on how much they liked it. Amazing looking deserts sat in the display case because nobody had any room left to eat them. I am giving 5 stars because I support local places with fantastic food even though our service was a bit quirky. Will definitely bring the gang back to Rumis on my next trip up north.

If you are going through elmvale and feeling hungry this is a great place to nosh . The staff is friendly and the price is right. Wide variety of choices on the menu for just about anyone. The portions are proper 😎 I have had the chicken pad Thai and would definitely have it again. Most recently I had the wings and I was not disappointed. Many flavors to choose from. I've also had the calamari and I can't knock it. These guys try hard and it shows. A bright light in a small place that offers a lot to many. A local favorite which says it all. I plan to eat my way through most of the menu so I'll definitely be updating my progress. Don't wait for me though go see for yourself 👍👍👍👍😎

Delicious food at reasonable prices! Portions are generous, grilled food had a nice char to it and there is LOTS on the menu to choose from. We enjoyed the Steak Melt sandwich, Lamb Souvlaki, and the Halloumi Fries. Water is served in plastic bottles but we did not get charged for it. The atmosphere is quite bare but suitable for the price of the food. Service could be improved upon - the male server was a bit curt and unfriendly. When he interacted with us or dropped things off at the table, he would do so in a hurry and without much care. Dishes were dropped onto the table with a slam and menus were slid across the table to us. Hoping for a bit better service next time we visit.

This was our first time here and what a great little spot. The service was excellent (Rochen) and the food was incredible. Tons of food! Lots of menu items to choose from. We started out with bacon cheese rice balls as an appetizer. I had the chicken bacon carbonara pasta, my husband had lamb souvlaki. We finished off with a wonderful carrot cake for dessert. We will be back for sure!!

Our experience at Rumis resto and chocolate bar was AMAZING!!! They were committed to great service and incredibly friendly! The quality of the food was top tier, and the atmosphere was perfect. Most importantly the food was delicious, affordable & worth every single penny! We ordered the chicken souvlaki with Greek salad (Greek salad was the best I ever had), jambalaya, calamari rings, wings & French fries and every meal was cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavour! Definitely coming back here regularly, I can’t wait to try out more items on the menu!
