Rumi Turkish Restaurant

I had an amazing experience at Rumi Restaurant. The BEYTI was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was quick, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Chef Halil is truly a master of his craft, and his passion shines through in his work. What impressed me the most, however, was the tea! For the first time in my life, I tried rose-infused tea, and it was unforgettable. Served in a traditional Turkish tea glass, the delicate aroma of roses made it an extraordinary experience. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

We just had a great experience at Rumi Turkish Restaurant on New Years Day. Nice atmosphere, service was welcoming. Many options on the menu, they explained some of the dishes to us to help with ordering. A well prepared meal, extremely flavourful dishes with well chosen sides. Generous portions, they packed the leftovers for us. It’s a great restaurant to patronize if you live in the neighbourhood, we’re lucky to have them here, and we’ll worth the trip for anyone looking for some authentic Turkish meals. Easy access, right on the Subway Line and also lots of Green P Parking close by. If you’d like to experience an authentic Turkish meal, don’t hesitate, this is the place. J

What an amazing restaurant! The decor was stunning, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, and the food was absolutely incredible. I visited with a friend, and we had an unforgettable experience. We started with the lentil soup, hands down the best I’ve ever had—rich, hearty, and full of flavor. Then came the spicy ezme, cacık, and Turkish bread, all of which were simply divine. For our main course, we chose the mixed Turkish kebab. Every bite was a delight—the kebab was incredibly flavorful, tender, and perfectly moist. The bulgur was beautifully cooked, and the onion salad added the perfect tangy freshness. A huge thank you to Rumi Restaurant for an extraordinary dining experience!

We had an absolutely delicious meal at Rumi! The evening started with a complimentary starter of fresh, warm Turkish flatbread served with a variety of flavorful dips—such a treat. We ordered several dishes to share, paired perfectly with a great selection of wine. Every bite was fantastic, and we were so full we had to take leftovers home. To top it all off, we enjoyed baklava and rice pudding for dessert, both of which were divine. Thank you, Michael and team, for a wonderful evening!

It was just by chance that we ended up having a late lunch in The Rumi. But many times, these random situations have become wonderful experiences. The food was beautifully presented, and it had a great flavor. The place was elegantly decorated with nice and soft music in the background . The service was extraordinary, and both waiters always surprised us every time they approached our table. It was really an unforgettable experience.
