In a word: thin. The fries are thin. The buns are thin. The patties are thin. It all tastes good. Really good. The problem is really just the quantity. If you find yourself still feeling hungry after your dinner of burger & fries... that may be a touch damning. If I stop in again and try it again, I'll update this to reflect.

I first learned of RUDY a few months ago. It looked like a classic burger joint that I would really like. I finally had the chance to try it. Was I disappointed? Not quite. Was I just a little bit underwhelmed? Absolutely. My experience at this location was good but nothing to write home about. The dining area was simple, but stark. The kitchen was visible, but unclean. The menu was refined, but overpriced. I do not feel that I got good value. The burger that I ordered was $13.49, the small poutine was $7.99, and a can of pop was a shocking $2.49! I wouldn't have thought twice about the cost if the burger had been better. The smash burger did not have enough ground beef. There was an issue with the beef-to-bun ratio. The potato bun was good. The RUDY sauce was delicious. I would have liked more toppings on the burger. The lettuce, onions, pickles, and American cheese were all tasty. The poutine with thick-cut fries was absolutely perfect. There is no way that any component of that dish could have been improved. The can of pop was a ripoff. The customer service was great. As a matter of fact, we were even given a complimentary brownie because it was our first time there.

Awesome classic style burgers, solid poutine with squeaky cheese, nice strawberry shake (not sure how it was made, but tasted great). Service was great, for fast food joint. They were super busy, so definitely order ahead of time.

$10 for less burger than a Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburger without the bacon and no better tasting. Terrible value. How do these places stay in business?! Definitely won't be back. Update - my belly has been in knots since eating this expensive tiny burger. Wish I could rate this place negative stars.

I had an amazing experience at Rudy Restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. And the burger? Absolutely delicious—one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly good! Pattie had nice crispy bits around the edges and bun was nice and soft. The special sauce brought a nice tangy balance. I am not gonna lie, I didn’t expect much when I randomly walked in on a Tuesday night. Ventilation was so bad I was in there for about 5 minutes and came out smelling like the grill. Burger was solid tho! Proved me wrong.

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!! I wished I had read the reviews prior to going there for lunch! How do they justify this? A tiny baby burger that would leave a toddler still hungry!! I was craving a burger so I went to Rudy. (First time) Ordered a cheese burger and a can of pop. I was shocked when they handed it to me! I actually felt embarrassed for them! The burger was a tiny baby size burger, smaller than a happy meal at McDonald’s!! Price for the burger and pop? $15‼️‼️ And to make matters worse they asked for tip on the debit machine which I felt obliged to give!! I’ll never set foot in that restaurant again unless I need to feed some birds or hamsters!! Hey Rudy’s THE BEST CUSTOMER IS A REPEAT CUSTOMER!!!

Simple yet tasty burgers with a sublime secret sauce. Got a Rude Dude and a Rudy, and the burgers were juicy, grilled to perfection, with a springy bun. This location also has good sitting capacity, is clean and spacious, and has a washroom. Service is quick. Prices are good value. Rudy is definitely a great quick treat!
