The jerk chicken is fantastic! Flavourful and tender, and the portion size is generous. A large plate can feed two. Service is great as well!

The price has gone up and serving has been cut in half. I ordered oxtail plate (oxtail with rice + vegetables) and large oxtail just meat but the oxtail even added together doesn’t even look like a large serving.

I got the large jerk chicken with rice and beans, jerk gravy and coleslaw. The coleslaw was meh. But the chicken and rice are amazing. Large serving good for 2 people (or 2 meals!) The chicken is well cooked and seasoned. I'm not super familiar with what jerk chicken should taste like, but I enjoy this anyway and will come back to try their other items. Despite the hidden location, the good side is there aren't much people in the area. Cashier was nice. Area was clean.

Sorry to say but this is someone’s version of Jamaican food. This is not authentic Jamaican food. We got jerk chicken, BBQ chicken and curry goat, all with rice and peas, steam veggies with 1 of the meals and coleslaw for the other 2. The curry goat kind of just makes the cut, but it’s not great. Don’t know what they trying to do with the jerk chicken because it looked more like stew chicken but without the tenderness and gravy. We received boneless chicken thighs. No bone-in chicken. Which is apart of the problem. The bone gives flavour and moisture. The BBQ sauce tasted like some type of Southwest bold/smoked Texas BBQ. I can tell you unequivocally, it shouldn’t taste like that. The steam veggies were completely tasteless. Imagine boiling Walmart Great Value frozen vegetables, draining it and eating it. Same thing. The coleslaw, just as tasteless. We spent $64 total and honestly it was a waste of money. I won’t be spending my money here again. Probably why it’s hidden in that part of the mall too because it’s not a showstopper. All in all, if you don’t know better you might be okay with it. It’s technically edible. But it’s more for a belly full than an actual meal to enjoy.

Food was flavourless and small portion for the price. Spent $42 on oxtail, curry goat dinner and a drink. The coleslaw was awful. This is 100% far from being authentic jamacian food. People that left positive review regarding taste must not eat authentic jamacian food. One a positive note the server was friendly. It wouldve been nice if they kept real flavours but still kept it modern looking for apperance purposes.

As usual cashiers always think they need to carry on the bitter greetings of a tired worn out worker back home, no greeting I say hi barely get a reply. As a Canadian customer service stands out didn’t get that. What I did get however was a large oxtail. Normally don’t buy oxtail outside but this first won’t be a last from here. Amazing flavour, fall off the bone meat. Lots of gravy on the rice and peas. Yummy crunchy coleslaw! Ya food was on point. Enough for me to ignore the cashier and place my order. Roywoods, definitely recommend.( Only took video so have to take pics off my phone) Those saying whoever likes the food doesn't know authentic flavors is just disrespectful because this was the best restaurant oxtail In the city EVER

I ordered the small Oxtail Plate on rice and peas with a small side of coleslaw ($14). It was the perfect size. The oxtail was soft and very flavourful and the gravy made everything tasty. The crunchiness and freshness of the coleslaw was a nice side to balance the savoury oxtail. I stopped by for lunch after a bit of shopping. It’s tucked away by the City Hall / Entrance 4 near Holt Renfrew.

Excellent customer service. Store is always nice and clean, friendly customer service. The food was great: Jerk chicken perfectly seasoned, right amount of spices. Veggies are a bit overcooked, tho. Ox-tail was also great Overall, the dining experience was great. Pricing - excellent 👌
