Royal Shawarma

Stay away from this place. Me and my wife got sick after eating here. I have no clue what chicken this was but I felt like eating pure fat. Ordered shawarma plate with natural fries. Let me tell you that everything was cooked with probably 1/2 l of oil. Disgusting. I felt like eating oil in every bite. For 30$ for a large plate - maybe it was the cost of the half of bottle of oil - all we got was fatty chicken with some potatoes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE = you will get sick.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I got a chicken shawarma from here last night and it wasn’t good at all. The chicken tasted and looked undercooked. I would’ve taken a picture but after having just one bite I had to throw it out right away. It’s also expensive and not worth it for the price especially since the guy that works there doesn’t know how to properly cook chicken. I would not recommend getting food from here, there are way better places to get your shawarma

Very rude person on the phone.. Asks me to tell him their own exact address because I was confused on their menu options so he asks me to verify the correct location.. a simple answer like yes or no would have done but this guys ego is way too high

Beef was crispy and tender. Tahini sauce was a little sweet but ok. Hot sauce wasn’t very hot but was fine. Only complaint was the rice didn’t taste fresh and almost like uncle Ben’s. kind of a run down place but lots of room for seating. Not sure about the customer service complaints because the owner was really nice.

Being someone who has dined out countless times and appreciates normal customer service where you don’t have to go over the top to serve me, the service and communication over the counter is very poor. Tasty food is one part of the experience, but if you know it’s coming from someone who is passionate about their craft. Not someone who easily drops low review stars but has no choice here. Hoping to see improvement here.

I don't understand why the ratings are so low here. This hands down the best shawarma I've had in my life. Ordered chicken with pineapple wrap and the seasoning was perfect. Juicy as well. Maybe the negative reviews stem from the beef eaters... Wait times are a little long as it's made fresh to order.

SO good! These folks know what they’re doing!! VERY clean restaurant! Pleasant staff! I had a falafel plate (see picture). Beautiful presentation. VERY fresh. None of this ‘freeze dried’ stuff! Made fresh … and you can taste the difference.! Well done, WELL done!!

Was in the area and decided to revisit this place. Been over 15 years, the sons are running the place now. Not much have changed, decor still the same. They are using the wraps now instead of the original buns. I opted for the chicken salad, pricey but tasty. I remember it being very busy during lunch on weekdays but this Saturday was not busy, chicken shawarma was reheated on the grill as normal, with added spice, but it could have been grilled a bit more. I remember it being more crispy. Garlic sauce and the homemade spicy BBQ is delicious. They need to bottle that and sell it. Grill the chicken more next time please, I like it crispy. Recommend this place even though it's a bit pricey.
