The service from Iryna was absolutely most outstanding, she was attentive, helpful, gave honest opinions, checked in enough to make sure you knew you were well taken care of. I'd seen such mixed reviews of the service online, this took me by pleasant surprise. The hostess before her also greeted us with friendly service. It is important to note that main dishes do not include anything at all beyond the protein. Sides are in the $10-15 range, so factor that in. My "main" was a single skewer of chicken, nothing else included for $20. That's not what one expects with a main dish. Is it really prohibitive for your bottom line to include something like rice or potatoes? Perhaps a side salad, a couple of basic veg? That said, what we ate was all tasty, the brussel sprouts perhaps a bit too oily, but that's being nitpicky. The apricot crepe for dessert was very delicious, completely worth it. Overall a good experience, nice atmosphere, outstanding service, decent food, the only not normal aspect was that the pricing was more in line with The Keg with everything charged separately. It may be a nice place, but this is not The Keg. Make the mains a complete meal on their own; will lead to less customer confusion, dissatisfaction, and increased perceived value.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s a wonderful atmosphere and food is great. I booked a reservation and upon arriving they informed me they didn’t have my table. I’m not sure if they gave the table away, but they did have my reservation. I understand things like this can happen, and they were extremely busy, but staff offered no apology or acceptable solution (they offered a table on their patio which is heated but didn’t dress appropriately for dining outside in the middle of November. Really unfortunate, but I won’t be going back here. Photo represents what they did…kicked me to the curb..

Dinner at Royal Meats was spontaneous but impressive! Been eyeing this restaurant and finally made it for an early dinner. We shared the calamari to start and it was so tender! I am not usually a sliders kinda-gal and I am still dreaming about these deconstructed burgers. My mom got the fish and chips, that were fresh and crispy and we shared a poutine and the Brussels sprouts as sides. I will 100% be returning.

Let's start with the primary attraction of this restaurant: the meat dishes were well prepared. The NY strip was lightly seasoned but served with a small dish of sea salt and a small container of olive oil. The olive oil was fragrant and it added a lot to the steak. The bone-in veal was very well seasoned and grilled to perfection. The beets were plentiful and served beautifully. That Swiss chard with potatoes was garlicky and savoury. The truffle fries were excellent. The fried calamari was crispy and flavourful. The grilled chicken wings were seasoned nicely but not overladdened with crusty sauces.

Went here just to try it out. Was in the area. Very nice place...amazing patio and food was very good with large portions. Surprisingly large portions. Only tried a couple things but will be back to try more items.

Its great. Simple as that. The quality of food you will receive from this restaurant is amazing. Everything is FRESH!! I believe that to be one of the most important things. The beef was soft and tender and packed with flavour and the calamari was cooked to perfection. Extra virgin olive oil is used and you can just taste the quality and difference when food is cooked with it. I highly recommend anyone to come here! Its more upscale and the food is higher quality. Prices are reasonable for what you get!! Love it!

Maybe because it was perfect weather for the patio, it was cool and it was heated it just hit right. Great place if you a drinking pretty big menu for the booze, had a 21 yr Macallan ( good not great ) and a big FAT 16oz veal chop. Wife spicy shrimp was great prefered it as my chop cut was solid but that spicy sauce was BLAM!!! Atmosphere is beautiful and it's a great date spot. Staff were helpful and everything was nom noms. I will 200% be back as they have great menu options.

We were initially coming to Royal Meats to possibly book an event and thus were going to meet the Manager, as well as, try out the menu. However, Manager wasn't there according to the waitstaff. The food was pretty and tasty. I ordered the 3 gourmet burgers. Deconstructed ones... nice. Truffle fries and beets as sides were delicious and shared amongst our party. Calamari and the chevaps wrap (?) was also ordered. Everything tasted great, however the service for water was a little underwhelming and receiving the final bill took awhile. We went when it wasn't too busy... but something was lacking. The interior is dark but with large screens of entertainment and the seating itself was comfy. A little pricey in my opinion but the food and the accoutrements was good.
