Food was good!! It’s difficult just to order one thing truly so I also order the curry chicken roit!

Rice and peas with anything but red kidney beans is a NO NO!!! Aside from that, the rice was very bland and the coleslaw had a sweet taste without much of any other flavor. Basically, I could taste the cabbage in its raw form. The fried chicken was juicy but also bland. The shrimp pasta was really really good, though. No complaints there. Used to come here a lot, back in the day but after today, I won't ever come back and that's for one reason only: TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS BEFORE THEY ORDER FOOD THAT THERE WILL BE A MINIMUM 40 MINUTE WAIT BETWEEN PEOPLE'S ORDERS BEFORE THEY GET THEIR FOOD!!! If you cared about your customers time, you would warn them before hand that'll it'll take half an afternoon before your order is ready. No other Caribbean restaurant makes you wait over15/20 minutes for your food no matter how busy they are. The food wasn't even worth this 45 minute wait today.

This spot spot does not miss. I recently started a new job a few doors down, ironically as a chef. But sometimes its nice to have good food prepared for you instead of making it yourself. Especially when thats all you do all day. One of my favourite spots for AUTHENTIC flavour. Great portions, great prices. Soup is too wicked. I could go on and on. Big up.

A place for authentic Jamaican and Carribean cuisines. Their meals taste great but I think their overall services could be better. They could revamp their physical outlet for a start so more people would be inclined to eat in. I didn't pre-order, but it seems that is the norm for this place as over 10 people came in to pick up their orders while I was waiting for my fresh order to be made. It took about 40 mins for my order to be made and I had a nice little conversation with my friend in the meantime. I ordered their red snapper fish and oxtail with rice and beans. They both tasted really good. Find photos attached below! ❤ I don't have photos for the oxtail cos I ate it a few days later but it was still good.

I bought one serving of the Festivals for $6.50 (it came with 4 pieces). It tasted terrible. The worst I have had I must admit. The oil that they used to fry it was used to fry another dish for sure. Either fish or another protein. If not that, then the oil was too old to reuse. Because of that, the taste of the festival was compromised. I could not even finish one because it had a weird taste and left a weird after taste in my mouth due to the oil used. I waited for almost 20 mins just to get this. I will not be going back.

I did a pick up here at Royal Caribbean Cafe. The atmosphere was not bad. It wasn't a big place but, enough space to get around. I ordered a Chicken Roti and small Oxtail. The food was good. It is a bone-in chicken Roti so if you are not into eating and spitting out bones then I suggest taking your time when eating lol. It is served with coleslaw on the side which I liked. The coleslaw had a bit of a sweet taste but nice. The Oxtail was good too. I got a small size. I didn't find service that nice where you walked away and was like wow I felt welcomed but, I guess that is the norm for Toronto. You can street park near the establishment or park for $1.25 on Green P for half hour. In all I spent about thirty dollars for both meals. Check it out for you but, I won't be rushing back. I am still on the hunt to find a really good spot in Toronto for food.

Jerk chicken was really juicy and good flavor. Great portion size! The bammy is amazing and the mannish soup (goat head) had good flavour and heat- they even offered to add dumplings to it. Provisions were OK, I tend to like mine a bit more cooked down and soft. Staff were really nice and knew the ingredients of the dishes well. They have many gluten free options too!

The food is excellent, generous portions and great prices. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend buying food from here. All the dishes are good, but they do have some of the best Jerk Chicken in town. ;)
