Roti & Pelau

The only good thing about this place is the chef :) And why do the hours keep saying they're open everyday? This is the second time I'm ringing their phone & stopped by on a Monday to see that they're closed. Make your hours clear. I wish there were more food places or a better spot at lapsley cause... this place nuh mek it

Very nice service, however, they don't make channa anymore so no doubles or channa roti. That's a major omission on a roti shop menu! The prices on the takeout menu/flyer are less than actual prices...they shouldn't have them out...should be replaced with updated price list since at the time that I visited current prices were not posted. Their roti got smaller approaching the size of other similar restaurants' rotis. It would be much better if they bring back doubles.

LIES!!! Not only are they called Lalita’s place when I called the number since I’d already driven around the plaza twice, but she then told me they were closed and couldn’t make me a roti, even tho signs say open to 11pm!! I had gotten back off the highway to come here!!!! STAY AWAY DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I have been to this roti place for many years and they have the best goat roti and doubles around! The rotis are better than the roti hut. In response to the "old man" and diarrhea, the man is nice and i had no problems with their food. Recommended!!

Best cook shop in Toronto. Not just Scarborough. Toronto. For anyone complaining about service or attitude, most West Indian roti shops are like that based on my experience. But the owner has always been friendly to me and my girlfriend. And the food is undoubtedly amazing.

Food isn't bad, but nothing great. The reason I'm rating it 2 stars is the service. There is an old man who I assume owns it, and is never pleasant unless he decides he likes you. After going there numerous times over the years supporting his business, the last time I went he stood in front of me on his phone for almost a whole 2 minutes. When he finally looked up he did not apologize and just stared at me blankly and went back to his phone. As I caught his attention the second time and gave my order he just abruptly disappeared into the kitchen without saying a word to me. I let my partner finish the transaction as I was so turned off by the interaction. This is not the first time I've been treated this way here, but it will definitely be the last. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Avoid! I am stupid enough to see them microwave the food instead of making it fresh and still taking it. The result? Horrible diarrhea and stomach problems during the day. Absolutely horrible.

I went there to buy roti shell and told them i wanted it plain they still gave it to me with everything in it. I went home and checked then i realise it wasnt plain.i ordered 10. I called and spoke to the boss and all he could say was sorry and hang up the phone. No compensation or anything. He is very rude..obnoxious and have a i dont care attitude. I called back and a girl answered so i asked her why was her boss so rude and she was rude as well...i told her the only reason i came there in the first place is because mona's roti was closed. Mona's roti is way better and they have good customers service and this store has flies and roaches. I will never go back there and i will tell all my friends not to go back to pauline's roti....
