We had our work event at Rooftop. Jerry was so easy to coordinate with! Linda and her team were very friendly and provided great service. Would come back again. Thank you Jerry, Linda & team.

Super great staff. Very friendly and prompt service. Nice view over College Street. Enclosed and heated seating during winter months. Mac n cheese is a delicious huge portion that is actually macaroni Beef sliders and wings were great too Happy hour all day Sunday is a steal Would absolutely come back again. Thank you!

I really liked the place and the overall vibe, but unfortunately, our experience was affected by the service. Our server, Kevin, was a little bit pushy when it came to taking our orders, which felt a little uncomfortable. On top of that, gratuity was added to the bill without informing us in advance. As someone who has worked in the industry, I understand concerns about tipping, but it would have been better to communicate this upfront. We were a group of six, but not all of us were consuming, and the place was almost empty when we arrived and when we left. This left me reconsidering whether I’d come back. I had planned on making this a regular spot after shifts, but now I’ll definitely be exploring other options nearby.

Avoid Roof Top on College or called Upper Deck by Frans at all cost!!! They will scam you with a 20%+ mandatory tip regardless of service quality!!! Before you consider dining there, take a moment to read their historical reviews which reveal a pattern of customer dissatisfaction. This place has a troubling practice of imposing an 18% minimum tip without prior consent. Our own experience there was deeply disappointing, underscoring their lack of concern for customer loyalty and satisfaction. The Assistant General Manager was notably unprofessional in handling complaints. To our dismay, not only did our food arrive after a later-ordered customer sitting beside us, but we were also hit with a 20% mandatory tip, unexpectedly increased by an additional 2% for minimal Pride decorations(what? you charge for PRIDE decorations?!) Unlike other venues, we were not given the choice to determine our own tip based on service quality. The service was equally disheartening, with both the assistant general manager and waitress displaying dismissive and condescending attitudes, especially the manager. The most egregious incident involved the assistant general manager, who attempted to publicly humiliating me by condescendingly offering $5 in cash when I complained. It's evident that this restaurant does not value building customer relationships, even though we are neighbors. We had hoped to dine at restaurant nearby (please go there), a far superior restaurant, but it was unfortunately full. Opting for Roof Top on College was a grave mistake, and I am skeptical about their ability to sustain their business long-term.

Visited Fran’s Rooftop Bar for breakfast before starting a road trip. We arrived just as they opened, and the views were absolutely amazing. The ambiance was great, making for a pleasant morning setting. The service was attentive; our server was quick to meet all our needs. We ordered the classic breakfast, Benedict, and chicken and waffle. While nothing particularly blew us away, everything was solid and met our expectations. Portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, which we really appreciated. Overall, Fran’s Rooftop Bar is a fantastic breakfast spot in Toronto for a weekend meal, especially if you’re looking for a place with a homey feel, tasty food, and great decor.

This is a good place for a happy hour as it has decent prices, such as beers for 6 50 until 8 pm, and good food (I recommend the chicken fingers and the nachos). It is very warm, which I like, but some people complain about it. It has a very nice street view and during the summer they open the windows.

Not bad but very expensive for the quality/quantity of food. The servers were nice but were quite forgetful and gratuity was mandatory. The summer passion cocktail was DELICIOUS but everything else was edible but the taste did not reflect the cost. We got seated at a table by the edge of the rooftop and the mister didn’t reach our table so we were very very hot where we were sat. I got the B Mac Sliders trio and they were quite dry which was disappointing. The waitress also suggested that I get fries with my burger which also ended up being very dry. Overall it was disappointing because my boyfriend and I wanted to go to one nice place and spend a bit of money for once and it ended up being overall not that good.

The whole experience was really disappointing. We went to the rooftop bar on a Friday evening after work. The service was super slow (even though the place was empty) Ordered a combo of fries and chicken wings. The wings looked slightly burnt on the outside, but tasted okay 👌🏻 We ordered 2 cocktails, Summer passion and Purple rain. They looked really cool, but tasted really bad. It was watered down A LOTTT, and tasted like syrup+ juice. We also ordered Georgian Iced Tea, and it also tasted like the syrup, WITHOUT a trace of alcohol. The bartender, a girl, was clearly inexperienced. We should have returned the third drink, the Georgian Iced Tea, it was the worst. The place was a total disappointment, guys. I won't recommend here for cocktails at allllllllllll.
