We had the chicken cheese kothu roti and chicken nasi goreng, and it instantly brought back those nostalgic Sri Lankan food vibes. The food was outstanding, especially the kothu roti, which was spot-on though it's takeout only. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of Sri Lanka!

The poutine here with their special spicy chicken with and all the fixings was amazing! Truly loved the flavours you got to pick and build, I went with red onions, jalapeño, cucumber and coriander with their chipotle garlic sauce and it was sensational. The chips in the poutine were perfectly prepared and the curds had that yummy rich texture. Highly recommend.

This place offers fusion Sri Lankan cuisine and is located in the takeout food hall on Yonge Street, close to Gerrard Street. The owner has been a chef for 20+ years and offers catering services, too. He’s very hospitable and deeply cares about providing great quality service and tasty food. We ordered “Kottu Roti Chicken” which is a very popular Sri Lankan dish. It was very delicious and flavorful. We also added the Chili-paste oil to it to make it more spicy. “Fried Chicken Sandwich” had a great taste to it as it’s made with special “Truffle Sauce”, made in-house. The truffle sauce tastes great. We also ordered “Seafood Nasi Goreng” and “Sri Lankan Fried Rice with Chicken”; both tasted great and authentic. Another must-try here is their “Roast Beef Sandwich” as it’s made with their signature “Smoked Apple Sauce” and it tastes amazing; the combination of melted cheese and Smoked Apple Sauce has given a unique flavor to the sandwich. I also tried “Ginger Beer”for the first time. This Sri Lankan beverage goes really well with the cuisine. For dessert , we tried “Deep Fried Ferrero Rocher Dessert Ball” which had a unique and pleasant texture and taste.

This is a gem. I would say more of a take out spot than done in. I love the colombo food vibe. We ordered a roast chicken nasi and a deviled chicken kottu. While waiting one of the gentleman said that they have a special drink made for the day. Turned out the be a delicious sherbet drink. A nice refreshing drink to sip on while waiting for the food. I am excited to try other dishes from the menu. Both dishes did not disappoint. Potion sizes were great, The taste took me back home. I guess if you know, you know 😉 Amazing job Rock Pot!

Best spot to go in downtown Toronto if you are craving Sri Lankan food.. Kottu, Fried Rice, Nasi Goreng..you name it! This is a convenient location, just a block north of Dundas Square. Delicious food!

Must try place for a mix of Sri Lankan & South Asian food. I highly recommend the Devilled Chicken Kothu from here - a popular favourite from Sri Lanka that's made here to perfection! 🙌🏽

Love this place! Food is amazing. I ordered the mutton kothu roti. If you don't like a lot of spice make sure to tell the chef less spice. They are super flexible.

Visited RockPot on a Saturday afternoon, and was greeted with prompt and friendly service. The Nasi Goreng was the perfect balance of savoury and spicy. Will visit again soon!
