RJ's Taste of Asia

My girlfriend and I visited RJ's a few days ago and were raving about it the entire drive home. We love asking for recommendations or favourite items and the server did not disappoint. She talked about how the food was made and what makes that specific dish her favourite on the menu. The food itself was awesome and our server recommended the pork adobo and the Vietnamese yellow curry. She was not wrong that both dishes were amazing and great portions. We know we will be back but I had to leave a stellar review along with everyone else.

I ordered takeout for my drive home. When I finally opened it it was rancid. I messaged the restaurant and they never replied. I was to far away to go back to get a refund. They didn't care to contact me to give me a refund. Will never go back based on this. I got the reply and the restaurant. They said they'd give me a refund with a receipt and come into the restaurant. I did not get a receipt and I live over 1.5 hours away. Not a good response.

Dropped in for the first time today for lunch. Glad we did. The food portions were large for the cost. Service was fantastic as the girlfriend is very picky and wasted too much time asking about everything on the menu. Appreciate the patience in helping her out. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like Vietnamese food. Try the coconut shrimp curry soul.

So good. Legit food, well presented, absolutely delicious, and really wonderfully nice staff. From Pho, to vermicelli bowls (I had pork and crispy roll), and BBQ pork skewers.

The egg noodle soup was amazing. Next time I would order a large. The noodles were lovely and the broth was absolutely delicious. The pad thai was tasty as well.

What a hidden gem. This restaurant is down a quiet road where you wouldn't expect a restaurant to be. Serving Vietnamese/Philipino food. We ordered, fried spring rolls, RJ's Pho, a curry egg noodle soup "B20a" (a MUST try) and pancit with chicken. All dishes were delicious and fresh tasting. The dining area was clean and spacious coupled with a friendly waitress. Will definitely return!

The food was absolutely great!!!! We were a group of 7 and everyone loved their order. The lady who took our order, which I'm assuming was the owner, was very nice and helpful. She never stopped smiling, and she brought us shrimp crackers (on the house) while we were waiting on our food. She was attentive throughout the whole time, making sure we had all we needed. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch or a family dinner. The price was good and the service was fast. I would 100% come back the next time I'm in the area! The only suggestion I have for the owner is to pay slight more attention to the cleanliness of their herbs. I asked for extra cilantro, to my surprise she actually provided us with a huge amount free of charge. However, afterwards I noticed the cilantros were not washed properly and had a bit of dirt on them.
