Everything was absolutely delicious. My only regret is not being able to eat more. The oxtail was so tender. The macaroni and cheese was very creamy. I’d order everything again. I’ll definitely be back. Fair warning, the Griot dish is listed as an appetizer but it is VERY filling.

My friends and I went for drinks here, and we loved it! The atmosphere is super cute, but what really stands out is the service. Kenya and Tyler went above and beyond with their hospitality, making us feel so welcome and taken care of. We’ll definitely be back for the great vibes and even better service! The 10 years I’ve been in Toronto I’ve never received a service like this - great people, thank you both!

First, on a positive note, I do love the ambiance of the restaurant. I appreciated the decor and representation of Haitian culture. However, as someone who has Haitian blood, this was a huge disappointment to me. I was hoping to have traditional Haitian fried chicken which is cooked completely different than what I was handed to me, it was giving KFC crispy chicken with a bland taste. Not to mention, the macaroni was like standard Mac and cheese. Haitian macaroni traditionally has peppers and does have a delicious coat of cheese that has been broiled. I was overall appalled by what was handed to me. The only Haitian part of this dish was the spice factor in the macaroni. Just goes to show that just because the chefs are Haitian, doesn’t always make a restaurant an authentic Haitian restaurant. Please, don’t let this be your last impression of Haitian food. Our food has so much to offer!❤️🇭🇹

Rice and beans that were part of the cashew chicken were my favorite. But the meat feels too dry. Too cold to be seated outside and I don't think I'll come back.

Overall decent place. Really loud party vibes inside and a chill patio perfect for people watching. The griot was delicious, which came with tostones (my fav). Very well seasoned juicy morsels of pork. Recommend. The oxtail was just ok. The drinks were also hit or miss. The passion fruit margarita was tasty but the rum punch.. meh. For the best rum punch, oxtail, and party, I’ll be going back to Chubby’s.

I’ve never tried Hatian food before and so was very excited to try this place, and the food does not disappoint! Got the salad, griot and boulet and everything was very delicious. The salad was very refreshing and the griot while labeled under appetizer actually comes with some fried plantains and is more of a main in terms of portion size. All the dishes were unique and the cocktail was very tasty as well. Will return in the future to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Other highlights include the wait staff who were very attentive to refill water even during dinner rush hour. Also I was going to order rice and peas but one waiter explained that the boulet already comes with some rice and suggested that I skip. A lot of times, wait staff will just simply take orders rather than provide helpful input so it’s another plus. If you’re in the area, make sure to try them!

Was in town for the Caribbean Festival and decided to give Rhum Corner a try. We were able to be seated right away on a Thursday evening. The food was good, the service was decent, and the drinks were the best! I will return on my next trip to Toronto.

Amazing food! Tasty, flavourful! Buzzing cocktails! Friendly service! Great cozy atmosphere! I will definitely be going back over and over again. The music does get a little loud the later in the evening it gets. But everything else is impeccable! Servers are friendly and knowledgeable! See you very soon Rhum Corner!
