REIGN Restaurant + Bar + Bakery

I visited Reign Restaurant tonight , located in the Fairmont Hotel, and I must say the ambiance and atmosphere were truly remarkable. The decor was elegant, and the overall vibe was welcoming. However, I was quite disappointed with the service. The waitress was not polite or welcoming, which negatively impacted the overall experience. I believe the restaurant has great potential, and I hope they can improve their customer service to match the quality of their food and atmosphere.

Nov2024 Stayed a couple of days at the Fairmont and the holiday seasons were pretty much getting busy so we had a bit of a challenge getting tables at the hotel restaurants without a reservation. What we could get access was the Reign Bar section for two nights. The menu is compacted version of the main resto. Food was standard small bites with sharing options. The drinks and cocktails were excellent. Loved the lager which was refreshing and slightly light. Service was exemplary, friendly, helpful and courteous. Our kind vietnamese gentleman server made our night more memorabable. The ambience of the bar is extremely cozy, intimate, and warm with the fireplace displays as well as the comfortable small dining nooks. Our 2nd night had a pianist in attendance. Must try the resto if it follows the same standards as the bar. MUST make reservations in advance 😁😁😁

Went for dinner on a Saturday. Atmosphere was great, food was excellent, atmosphere was lovely. Music was not loud, restrooms were clean. We couldn’t find a table for the desired time but 6pm ended up being okay. Will definitely go back to try their bar too.

The casual dinning bar is great. The ambience and the food are pretty good. Specially the Steak sandwich (we repeat it)!!

Had food and drinks at this place for the first time. Carla was my waitress, she is very welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is amazing! It’s not loud but also not quite because of the subtle music playing. I drank a mocktail 7/10, nice presentation but taste could be better. Ate oysters 10/10, amazing presentation, many toppings to put on oyster, tasted phenomenal! Had fries to end it off since I wasn’t to hungry 5/10, taste decent, good presentation. Don’t know if I was full but fries didn’t taste well for me. Overall I had an amazing experience here and would come again and recommend to others. Pictures also included. We were absolutely blown away with Reign this evening. Joseph was our server and he delivered fabulous service. He was personable, kind and professional. The food was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We had four guests at our table. We had the Beef Tartare and it was the best I have ever had. Two members of our group had never had it before and they loved it. Two of us ordered the duck; which was cooked to absolute perfection and the blend of pears and Saskatoon berry was phenomenal. The others had the steak and the Hen and they had nothing but amazing things to say. The side dishes were delicious and the servings were plentiful. We also ordered several drinks and they were delicious and well worth the purchase price. Hands down one of the best meals we have ever had! Thank you so much to Joseph and REIGN. We will return the next time we stay at the Fairmont
