We came in, we looked at the Private Party Room, and we met with the owner. We talked about terms of engagement: date & times for the event, menu, pricing, seating, decor, and music. Everything was nicely done, and the room was ready for us when we arrived. The delivery of the services we asked for was on time. It was truly a great experience, and we would definitely recommend it for an event.

Honestly love this restaurant so much! It’s been consistent since it opened around 2016/17! Hubby loved it when it opened brought all of us here to eat. Unfortunately moved far away so had not been here since before Covid! Was in the area on Saturday and decided to come in for some take away and was not disappointed at all! Food was very delicious as before and everything was on point!! On top of that, they have renovated and expanded the restaurant, which has made it even more luxurious and fancy. Would 1000% recommend coming in for a nice sit down meal. So hard to find consistency in service, food quality and atmosphere and this place has only gotten better. Cannot wait to come again!!

I recently ordered a veggie platter that included okra, jackfruit, tomato curry, aalu chana, and stuffed roti. Unfortunately, this meal was a major disappointment. The only decent items were the aalu chana and the stuffed roti. Everything else was a disaster. The okra, jackfruit, and tomato curry and one another veggie were completely tasteless and seemed stale. They lacked basic seasoning, making the dishes bland and unappetizing. It was as if they had forgotten to add salt entirely. Overall, it was a regrettable experience, and I wouldn't recommend this platter to anyone looking for fresh and flavorful vegetarian options.

I ordered a variety of food to try 😋 and most was really good. Cow foot and white rice was really soft and well seasoned. Fry chicken was good as well my daughter rated it 5 with the rice and peas . So good. Rasta pasta was a bit spicy , so be warned ⚠️. The oxtail needed a bit more seasoning close to the end of cooking but it was soft . Still good with the rice and peas. BBQ chicken to go looks really good. The curry Goat was to go , I always have it so I know it's good.

Food - Jerk chicken poutine was very juicy and tender. Oxtail poutine was very flavorful. Couldn’t pick between the two. Service - quite attentive, was a little less busy when I went so I got taken care of Price - decent pricing. Biggest complaint is that their menus were not updated to their prices so was a bit surprised when it came time to pay Atmosphere - very quiet local place. Felt very at home. Seem to host a lot of parties on the weekends. Definitely a place that gives you that local feel

I've heard about this place from my SIL in the past but never visited until recently and I'm happy we did. Everything was a solid 5 from start to finish. The restaurant has a very nice vibe and the young lady who took our order was very friendly and polite. It was a take out order. The second time we called in our order and again, the young lady was very patient and accommodated us. We got jerk chicken poutine, oxtail with rice and peas and a curry goat and white rice. First of all I have never even considered jerk chicken and poutine as a dish would taste so good. It was fire 🔥 It wasn't overly spicy but it was definitely flavourful. Everything worked in this dish. We loved it so much we ordered it a second time and again it did not disappoint. The oxtail with rice and peas was amazing. First of all let me say this....many Jamaican restaurants add sugar to their oxtail and it alters the flavour. It's good but a tad sweeter than I like. This oxtail was prepared the way my mom used to make it. It was rich and hearty and very savoury and more akin to the traditional style of oxtail. The gravy was a beautiful dark and thick colour and consistency which married well with the rice and peas to soak in all that earthy, rich creaminess. The curry goat was also very good, it was a tad salty for my palate. That being said, I don't cook with additional salt as many seasonings already contain salt so I'm more sensitive to salt. The meat in both dishes were cooked till tender, soft and melt in your mouth. We chose coleslaw as the side and it was delicious. Again, very reminiscent of the way the dish is prepared back home and it added a nice refreshing, a tad sweetened balance to the savoury of the meat dishes. On our second visit we added mild patties to the order and they were very good. Nice temperature, crisp and flaky crust and a nice meat filled. The first visit was such a great experience we needed to try it again to ensure it would live up to the hype we were giving it. Both times we were highly satisfied. The prices are very good and the portions were also very good. You definitely get your money's worth. I will definitely be visiting again and again.
