Regalz Kitchen and Bar

Review for Regalz Bar I recently visited Regalz Bar and while the ambience was chilled and relaxing, the experience with the food and drinks left much to be desired. I ordered the spaghetti jambalaya, but it was undercooked and lacked the spice I specifically requested. It was so disappointing that I couldn’t eat more than half of it. To make matters worse, the margarita I ordered was mostly ice with barely any noticeable liquor content. I raised my concerns with the staff, but their response was dismissive—they claimed no other customer had complained. Unfortunately, no effort was made to address the issue. While the atmosphere was enjoyable, the lack of attention to food quality and customer feedback was a letdown. It’s not an experience I’d look forward to repeating.

The bartender and server were both liars. My friend is allergic to mango. He ordered orange juice and the bartender gave him mango and orange juice. My friend tasted it and said this isnt orange juice the bartender said yes it is . My friend said i know what i am tasting and this isnt orange juice then he said yes its orange and mango juice but more of orange juice .His excuse was that it's basically the same thing. They refused to sit my friend when she arrived alone. The host/bartender (Mr. bad breath) said all of the tables were reserved but we saw people walking in and sitting themselves without reservation. We ended up getting proper seating when we decided to leave and not wait for our orders. Ordered food for my friend and I they brought only mine and forgot my friends order we had to order again . After the food finally came we asked for water and the water took another 10 minutes to arrive evidently they wanted us to choke on our food .I haven't had this much bad service since 1870's jimcrow America . They made us feel like second class citizens with their terrible service. I felt I came to spend my money to be insulted

I visited here on my birthday precisely 14th of December, 2024 for the first time with my family and friends. I was happy that I was going to enjoy the tax break on restaurants and other items announced by the government to take effect on that day, but I was wrong because we got the bill and was charged for tax. The waiteress didn't give any concrete reason for that despite explaining that I had gone to another restaurant earlier in the afternoon and was not charged for tax. I let that go! But, I was more shocked when I was charged another 18% of our total bill as service charge! I was angry! Like 18%!!! that was even more than the charge for tax!!! Note that, I had called earlier to make a reservation for a table of 10 and was never told of any other additional charges asides what we buy. I paid and left with my pains, but was extremely sad because other bars we had visited in the past had never ever charged for service charge! I called 2 days later to lodge my complaint, but the reception was cold and the person told me there was nothing they could do. I would not be going back there in the future and would never recommend such services to anyone. Ambience and food was on the average, but service is a big NO for me!

Visited this spot on a weekend with a friend. We got there a bit early, around 5 PM, and even though it wasn’t too busy yet, the vibe was already great. By 7 PM, the place was buzzing. We tried the catfish and plantain and extra fries as sides. The catfish was spicy, will go for regular next time, and while the fries were overfried, the sauce made up for it. The cocktail I had was solid, and my friend enjoyed her beer. We also ordered suya but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. It was too dry and crunchy, with way too much onion and cabbage on the plate. It was not worth the $25. The service was mostly good. Shoutout to the first lady who served us, she was super friendly. But the last server? Not so much. She was snobbish and even gave my friend a few rude stares. Overall, I’d still say I had a great time. The atmosphere and music were on point, giving Lagos vibes.

Been there twice. The ambience is good and the food is okay. The issue is some of the ladies who serve there have very poor customer service skills. The last time I was there, the lady assigned to our table was very impatient and snobbish. It’s like we were bothering her by asking questions about the food. There was an issue with a drink order which we brought to our attention and she kept us waiting forever for a solution . She passed by our table several times to serve other customers and we tried calling her over but she completely ignored us. At one point after waiting for so long, one of us went over to the bar where she was just standing there chatting and laughing with other customers and staff, to try to speak to her and she wasn’t even looking at him while he spoke to her and just pointed to another server who thankfully was able to attend to us for the rest of the evening and was much more pleasant. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I’m not sure I would want to keep spending my hard earned money at a place with such poor service. Regalz, good service is mostly what brings clients back to your business! Train your staff accordingly!

I visited with my friend and we had the Grilled Catfish with sides of plantain and coleslaw that came with the fish and extra sides of sweet fries which my friend thought was over fried. However, please stick with the regular catfish if you can’t handle spicy. The spicy is really spicy. I had beer and my friend had a cocktail but I can’t remember which one it was. It was good. We had the beef suya however it’s just there, a bit too dry. Service was good but as soon as they got busy the orders didn’t come in as quickly, quite understandable. Ambiance and music took me right back to Lagos. Staff look good with beautiful smiles. Generally not a bad experience, you should totally visit!

This place was recommended to us by a friend and the experience was ok. The server did his best with the orders but at times a little forgetful. I ordered a margarita, which had a bunch of ice at the top and tasted like water at the bottom. The server was kind enough to have it removed for our bill. The food was pretty good, and I ordered a Suya Wrap, which was nothing to write home about but tasty. All in all, it's not a bad place to dine.
