Red Spoon Restaurant

Family comes from all over Ontario for our Christmas party! The highways connect making it a great location and there is lots of parking. There is always so much delicious food (something for everyone) a little bar and a dance floor the children love. Thank you, Nadia for making the room so beautiful (table & chairs covered and beautiful lighting for pictures).

So I booked my wedding here with 20 guests. And it was a very stressful experience to deal with the owner Nadia. There’s so much stuff in the hall and Nadia has no where to put anything so you kind of just have to deal with it. So you rent the hall but you can only use half of the space because there’s four extra tables you don’t need. When you call, no one answers and when you try to email or use eventective as a form or communication, she takes sometimes more than three days to answer. You email her one thing and in person she says another. I asked if she had room for a two tiered cake in her fridge over email and she said yes but when we brought it to drop it off she said there was no space so she left it on a table for hours. Then she also said that I didn’t email and ask that but I have it in writing that I did. She leads you to believe that she will have help with the bar and plate cleanup but it’s just her doing everything which makes dinner an hour later than what we asked for. She also said that we could come in to try the food when another booking had a similar menu to ours but she told us one had happened without telling us or letting us try anything. So we had to just hope the food was good because we didn’t have a chance to try anything. For cake drop off, we were left banging on the door trying to get in because the door was locked and she didn’t answer it. Then the same for set up beforehand. We paid for 4pm-12am and we were calling and banging on the door for twenty minutes trying to get in to set up. So we paid for time we couldn’t use. When you email her about stuff you want, if it’s been a couple days, she forgets completely about what we want. We went for a meeting to see the colours and she brings colours we didn’t even ask for and we asked for certain alcohol at the bar and she forgot. She kept saying “you should have emailed me to remind me” I did email you about everything. YOU forgot. Also nickle and dimed everything. 0.50 cents for parm per person is crazy because the pasta with tomato sauce was so sad and plain. Just for an already stressful day, she added to it. Instead of being more agreeable and available for us.

After searching for a venue to host my brother's 50th birthday party on May 4, 2024, I stumbled across the Red Spoon Restaurant and I'm glad I did. They promptly replied and answered my questions. I was able to view the space before fully confirming that it was the right space for my event. We had about 55 guests and it comfortably fit us all with room to fit more. Nadia was very accommodating and kind. She worked with my requests and went above and beyond and gave some complimentary items as well. It was a frantic day (for me as the person who was hosting the event) but Nadia made it manageable. My guests loved the space and had a fantastic time. I would hands down have my event here again. We brought our own food so I can't speak about the catering side of things but don't believe the negative reviews. Speak with Nadia yourself and make up your own mind. P.s the catering menu was very reasonable but we opted to bring our own food to accomodate various dietary restrictions. Nadia even warmed our food up in the back.

I attended my granddaughter baby shower. • The space was beautiful and bright, with a lot of natural light. The layout was flexible and we could arrange the tables and chairs as we wanted. The ambiance was cozy and elegant, perfect for a baby shower. • The food was fresh, and varied, with options for different dietary preferences. The drinks were also great, with a selection of juices, teas, and coffees. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional. • The guests loved the venue and the baby shower. They complimented the food, the decor, and the atmosphere. They also enjoyed the activities and games that we organized in the venue. • The pros of the venue were the location, the price, the quality, and the service. The cons are negligible. I would definitely recommend the venue to others who are looking for a charming and affordable place to host a baby shower

We just had my mom's 85 birthday celebration and Nadia was very helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious, her employee was very pleasant to work with. Overall it was a great experience . I will definitely recommend it to anybody and will definitely use them again in the future.

Both my wife and I had a great experience hosting a wedding event here at The Red Spoon. Nadia did a great job accommodating all of our requests and ensured that our wedding event was a great experience. My guests really loved the chicken parm and pasta dishes; they were very delicious. The service was fantastic and our host ensured that our event was great from start to finish. Overall, hosting events at the Red Spoon is budget friendly, Italian dishes are delicious and the service is fantastic; thank you Nadia. Angel and Aedrian

Great cozy place. We went here for a friends birthday party and we had a great time. Location was pretty clean and the service was awesome. Food was served well for the party and the quality is impressive. The place was booked exclusively for our party and it was very decent for the occasion. Great place to have a get together. It does have a bar to get the fun going.
