Red Rockets

We recently ordered some wings from Red Rockets using Skip the Dishes. We ordered the combo #2 with barbecue sauce and buffalo blaze with fries. The dinner came quickly and hot. The wings were quite tasty, will order again.

The paradise location has gone down hill over the years. We ordered wings last night and they were not good. The oil was old as the wings had that rancid oil smell to them. I've run fry trucks before and it's telltale sign they aren't changing the oil frequently enough. The main area is run down and dirty. I couldn't bring myself to sit on the couches they had in there as they were filthy. Management needs to step it up at this location. Used to be a good spot but there is no pride of ownership anymore. Girl at front was nice though. Sorry for the harshness but it's just bad business for paying customers.

Got mild wings and been sitting a while. Either to lazy or cheap to cook my wings. I ordered blazing hot and crispy. I got wings mild and cold. To lazy to cook new batch. I called back and got a 20% discount. Should of sent me a new order order of blazing hot crispy wings . Don't order from them. Staff don't care. Allso live 2 mins away.... Not the 1st time they screwed up.

Food was over an hour late from estimated time. Restaurant didn’t care. Didn’t reach out to tell us how late it would be or to see if we’d like to pick up. Food was cold and old. Over 40 minutes in a take out bag before being delivered. Owner said he wouldn’t be happy if it was his food but it happens … not worth what we spent and this also isn’t the first time. Lesson learned. Won’t think to give them another chance again. Gone downhill over the year.

We have ordered Red Rockets’ wings 4 times over the years from various locations in Hamilton and had always enjoyed their wings. We recently ordered wings, fries and a salad from Red Rockets on Upper Paradise. The fries and salad were good. The wings tasted fine but were so small that I was embarrassed to serve them to company. I emailed the company through their website with polite criticism; weeks later I have had no feedback from RR. When I told my story to some friends, one said that he was also disappointed with the size of the wings from Red Rockets and even weighed them and discovered that his 2 pounds of wings weighed just over 1 pound. May I suggest that there are many other places to order large and tasty wings in Hamilton, including Fortino’s. I hope Red Rockets learns from this criticism.

In Hamilton, the absolute go to for take out chicken wings.The wings are good sized , nicely breaded with your choice of how you want them prepared. We always get the wings crispy and extra saucy. I appreciate the ability to order and pay in advance.

Got a small rib & wings combo. Ribs were nice and tender, pulled apart easily, abundant sauce. The wings had a nice crispy batter, also with abundant sauce. I ordered the hot honey, but it was actually sweet. The potato wedges were absolutely perfect. Almost McDonald's fries good. The coleslaw had a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. Store decor is dated with some old couches. Would benefit from a complete makeover.
