Fav jerk chicken spot in the city, the late closing is a blessing as well. The older gentleman is amazing his customer service is unmatched!

I’ve been going here to eat and have take out since 2020. The couple running the place are so friendly and their food is amazing !!! Ever since their daughter (I assume) took over the chickens been dry and her attitude has been just as dry. She seems miserable to be serving and has ignored me plenty of times before rolling her eyes when I’ve gone to order take out… do you want my business or not? Also she’s nicer to certain POC vs not. Such a shame because the couple really had a great thing going, food and service wise.

Ordered Rap's for lunch, the mild large jerk chicken. The chicken was bone dry. Horrible. Tossed the entire meal in the garbage after a couple bites. The flavors are great but serving what was likely day old dry chicken is not good for repeat business.

My plate was lacking flavour I’ve had jerk chicken at many places and for me this did not have the jerk flavour it was plain with no sauce The quantity was fine (I had already eaten some of the chicken in this picture) but there was no coleslaw only a few strands of cabbage and that’s it like really come on ? Wanted to try cus many people rave about this place ..I’m not sure if it’s because I ordered at 9 maybe it was the end of the night but it’s not worth what I paid…disappointed definitely!!!

If I could give the food 6 stars, I would. We ordered a jerk chicken meal 4 times over 5 days during our stay in Toronto. The meat is smoked to perfection, the sauce is excellent and it felt so satisfying every time while eating. Had me feeling like I just had a delicious balanced meal, while not too heavy, every time. Service is a bit slow but still absolutely worth it.

This was my first visit to this place and I found the portion size to be great for the price of 17 dollars for a medium jerk chicken. However, I encountered a few broken pieces of bones while eating my rice, which almost caused me to choke. The staff were not very friendly. There was no music or happy vibe in the place, so I would recommend just getting food for takeout. On the positive side, the chicken, pasta and rice were filled with lots of flavor and heat. Overall, the place is alright and I might visit again.

The jerk chicken is amazing. They have a proper pit in front of the store. The bbq chicken was really tasty as well so it's definitely an option. It's a little pricey but prices are high everywhere these days, considering that it's definitely worth it. I haven't tried the other things on the menu but we'll definitely be back at some point.

Got food delivered here late night at 2am. If the food was fresher it would of been better. Must of been left overs cause nothing was hot. Oxtail was okay and Curry Goat was okay as well. Potato Salad was a NO, it was stale, like it had been left in an open container in the fridge for a very long time. Yuck. Coeslaw was alright. Probably would give them another chance, but no time soon. Big portions and well priced.
