Ramona’s Kitchen (Hillcrest Mall, Richmond Hill)

I highly recommend this spot if you're in the Thornhill area, seeking a friendly and satisfying brunch. The menu boasts a diverse selection of dishes to please every palate, and the service was exceptional. Reservations are not accepted as it's a consistently popular spot. I indulged in the Schnitzel Benedict, which was truly delicious. Two generous portions of lightly breaded chicken schnitzel graced the plate, both substantial in size. Lately, many restaurants resort to excessive fillers and batter to artificially inflate portion sizes. However, I felt the food here was authentic and not merely an attempt to create an illusion of value. The restaurant is nicely designed and decorated. It is located in Hillcrest mall near the Sporting Life store.

We had breakfast there, and it was great! Dad’s Breakfast with a side of strawberries, French toast, or blueberry pancakes is perfect if you’re craving something sweet. The Mediterranean Benedict with that amazing Hollandaise sauce is definitely going to be my regular order at this spot. The coffee wasn’t as strong as I like, but the staff was friendly and attentive. Just a heads-up—they mention that you’ll need to be patient since they use fresh ingredients and make everything from scratch.

This is one of our go-to spots for all-day breakfast, and it never disappoints! We have been here a few times now and always enjoy it immensely. Our favorites are the Schnitzel Benedict and the Western Omelette, both are absolutely delicious and consistently prepared to perfection. Their salads which come as sides to these, are incredibly fresh, which adds a nice touch to the meal. The quality of the food and the cozy atmosphere make this a great place to relax and enjoy a hearty breakfast or brunch.

Each dish was perfectly crafted by Chef Erfan, whose expertise truly shines through. The fish sandwich was crispy and flavorful, the burgers were juicy and well-seasoned, the pasta was rich and comforting, and the pancakes were light and fluffy. Chef Erfan’s attention to detail and culinary skill made this a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Great food with good variety! The atmosphere is very modern, homey, and inviting. Staff are friendly. Only downside is that there isn’t a lot of room, so more likely than not you will be waiting for a spot. Fairly priced and plenty of parking.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best breakfast spots I’ve visited in Richmond Hill. The food was incredibly fresh, and the menu offered a fantastic variety of options to suit all tastes. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. I had the pleasure of dining here with my girlfriends for a Friday brunch, and we were all thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our experience special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful breakfast or brunch experience.
