Ramen Isshin Vaughan is a new restaurant in Vaughan opened more than 6 months ago.

Ramen Isshin means One Heart One Ramen. Bringing true authentic Ramen to the city of Toronto. Our happiness is your happiness & we always want to make you smile. We offer a variety of bowls that are very unique in flavours, textures and taste. We want you to have our "Isshin" experience and leave satisfied & always smiling! Our signature Ramen is our Wok Fried Red Miso Ramen. Every bowl starts in the wok. A generous handful of veggies mixed with our signature blend of red & white miso, sake and other seasonings are fired up. Tonkotsu broth is added and brought to a piping hot temperature, this is then poured over a fresh bed of noodles. This process melds all the flavours perfectly together to give it that unique Isshin taste.

Food: The menu features standard ramen and appetizers, with options for different noodle types and additional toppings. I tried the Garlic Oil Ramen, which was warm and enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. For appetizers, we ordered the fried pork gyoza, which met expectations without surprises. My friends also enjoyed their ramen but shared the same sentiment—it was good but not exceptional. Staff: The service was excellent! The staff were attentive and welcoming, ensuring we felt taken care of. Despite a short wait, we were seated quickly, and the food was served promptly. There’s not much more to add—it was smooth and efficient service. Ambiance: The restaurant balances a modern aesthetic with clean, contemporary decor that includes subtle nods to its cultural roots. Although the space is packed with seating, it feels thoughtfully arranged and welcoming. Accessibility: There’s plenty of parking available, but navigating the entrance can be a bit tight.

Staff is exceptional. You'll never need to worry about asking to fill your water. You're welcomed as you walk in and instantly seated. The food options are vast, you need to scan a QR code for the food menu but the drinks and specials menu are printed. They have daily specials you can choose from as well. The washroom are big and clean and they have universal ones if you don't fit the male/female distinctions. It's very welcoming through and through. Would love to go again.

I gave this place a 3/5 because I honestly was not a big fan of the broth. Usually when I get ramen, the broth is supposed to be the main component of the dish, and at Isshin, for me it was quite bland and actually really salty. The service was great though and the atmosphere itself is nice, but I personally did not go crazy for the ramen.

Good Ramen and broth. We tried the Roasted Garlic Ramen, Red Dragon Ramen which is very spicy, and the Karaage Rice bowl. The water tasted stale and service can be better.

The place is sooo good! Many vegetarian options even ramen, and the deserts were really good too! I would recommend Strawberry Shaved Ice, Mango Pudding. And if you don’t eat meat I would recommend Roasted Garlic Shoyu Ramen and Vegetarian Spicy Red Miso. Also service is really good, you get your food really fast and staff is super nice!!

First time trying Ramen Isshin. The restaurant isn't that big, but there is the option of sitting on the patio. I tried their signature Red Dragon ramen - decent broth, but the spiciness overpowers the flavor, and the 2 slices of cha siu was rather small. The ramen/beansprouts ratio is okay, a lot more ramen than beansprouts. For appetizers, their deep-fried AGE tofu and Tako Wasabi were delish! Their price is average in comparison to other ramen places.

The signature red miso ramen is special that topping is wok fried. It also comes with two pork belly. The white shio ramen comes with the sesame served on the side. The restaurant is not large so you may need a little bit of waiting. The servers are young and helpful. The food menu can only available online via a QR code that it is not the best experience for dine in. Although there are lots of Japanese on wall and you can hear a lot of Japanese greeting in the restaurant but in fact most of the staff are not native Japanese speaking people.

Good quality Ramen. Broth is thick and rich. Slice pork too thin, ramen portion also a bit small. Takoyaki is not good, not recommend. A bit pricey, service is good. Overall 4 stars. Can try.
