Ramen Isshin is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.

Ramen Isshin means One Heart One Ramen. Bringing true authentic Ramen to the city of Toronto. Our happiness is your happiness & we always want to make you smile. We offer a variety of bowls that are very unique in flavours, textures and taste. We want you to have our "Isshin" experience and leave satisfied & always smiling! Our signature Ramen is our Wok Fried Red Miso Ramen. Every bowl starts in the wok. A generous handful of veggies mixed with our signature blend of red & white miso, sake and other seasonings are fired up. Tonkotsu broth is added and brought to a piping hot temperature, this is then poured over a fresh bed of noodles. This process melds all the flavours perfectly together to give it that unique Isshin taste.

It’s been a while since I was able to visit Ramen Isshin (always one of my favourites).. Was finally able to go last week and enjoy a bowl of spicy red miso ramen and enjoyed every morsel. This place remains one of my top 3 ramen joints in the city. On the downside, it’s probably among the most expensive ramen spots ($20+) so I’m glad there are other great lower priced options as well (such as Santouka)

Finally visited Toronto and had the privilege of catching Ramen Isshin on our trip. Service was friendly but slow, and the served a few tables that seated after us before checking in with us (seemed like the favored some regulars). That said, we were still served well once served. The ramen did not disappoint. The portions are large, and the flavors are bold and delightful. All three of us ordered different dishes, and we all were delighted by the flavors.

This place is awesome. I am so glad they have vegetarian options for ramen. I went there by myself , I ordered the spicy garlic vegetarian ramen bowl, it was just perfect. And for the dessert I ordered the mango pudding. Overall, the food is pretty decent , but I found it little expensive, may it's in downtown toronto. Staff is quite friendly. Will comeback soon.

Ramen Isshin is a cozy spot perfect for a bowl of hot ramen. Despite the small setup and a 20-minute wait, we enjoyed the experience. The menu is simple, and we tried their most popular options a slightly spicy ramen and a creamy one. Both were flavorful and satisfying. Worth the visit!

My second time visiting this place, both times offered great service. The broth is rich and flavorful, a well-crafted bowl of ramen. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with fast and friendly service. While the restaurant can get busy, the quality of the food definitely makes it worth the wait. Overall, Ramen Isshin is a great spot for anyone craving a delicious, authentic bowl of ramen in Toronto. Highly recommended!

Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! Ah yes, my favourite type of noodles, is Japanese style Ramen and I think Toronto can agree with me with a plethora of options to choose from in this city. My #1 top spot to get a fix of these addicting noods combines the rich and fatty pork bone broth with the indulgent, slightly sweet aromas of the black garlic that permeate through every pore in your body resulting in a broth that is chugged until not a single drop remained, a decision made despite its possible health consequences. The chashu is not to be overlooked either, with a smoky char and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. There's also seating for those in queue, which comes in handy when this place is packed during meal times.

My ramen was overwhelmed with bean sprouts, which dominated both the flavor and texture. Inside the restaurant was extremely loud and somewhat chaotic, making it difficult for my partner and me to hear each other, but it was certainly an experience.

Friendly and welcoming service. Quickly seated. Everything was delicious. Nice presentation. With my wife being from Tokyo, passes the “authentic” test. With the weather being a bit warm, didn’t have the appetite to try some of the side dishes. Recommend with enthusiasm.
