Ramen Isshin is a solid ramen spot in the city! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere that sets the tone for a perfect meal. The menu offers a fantastic selection of rich, flavorful broths, with the signature Isshin Shoyu being a standout. The noodles are perfectly cooked — chewy, yet smooth — and the toppings (especially the chashu) are melt-in-your-mouth tender. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the food comes out fast, even during peak hours. Whether you’re a ramen connoisseur or a first-timer, Ramen Isshin is a must-try. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, top-quality ramen experience in Toronto!

Ramen Isshin is always a contender for best ramen in Toronto. Their red miso is one of my favourites bowls. Karaage is also more like how they make it in Japan, with a much thinner layer of coating on the chicken.

If you looking a great Ramen restaurant in Toronto. You are in luck! 🍀 It was recommended to me by my friend, who tried many Ramen places, and this one is far greater than others. I am in agreement with my friend 😉 This place is almost always busy, so please be patient to get inside 🤝 It’s simple but feels authentic Ramen place. And seems like everyone is enjoying the food & feels like they are not 1st time here 😉 In few words: you have to try it 💯

The food was delicious! We tried the Red Dragon and Black Tan Tan; I personally preferred the Red Dragon for its spiciness. We also enjoyed the Age Tofu and Mango Pudding. Every bite was incredible, taking me straight back to Japan.

Great experience, staff was so polite and accomodating. I ordered Spicy Red Miso Ramen, and trust me, it is one of the best Ramens I have tried in Toronto. While I write this review, I can still feel the taste in my mouth! It was that good! Spice level was perfect for my taste. Also, the portion size was great, I couldn’t finish lol

The broth was great and had a depth but a bit salty! The meat wasn’t as tender as I’ve had it for comparison, but the egg was very well done — perfectly yolky. We all enjoyed our dishes but not great enough for me to crave or seek out. If they improved their meat and eased on the salt, I’d definitely try again…! Service was also great and friendly. I did find, though, that the tables were arranged poorly. It was hard for us to get to our table and back out. Poor interior organization.

Without a doubt some of the best ramen in the city and has been my personal favourite since they opened, which feels like a decade ago. When it comes to broth, Ramen Isshin blows all others away! Their black sesame and red dragon are my favourite and an absolute must try Imo, but I've tried a few others like the white sesame and red miso and you honestly can't go wrong. Chashu, noodles, and topping are all top notch and combined together really make for the perfect bowl of ramen. Appetizers and sides like takoyaki, karaage, age, are done well but nothing special. The real star is the ramen. Service is friendly, vibes are cozy and lively, and everything is reasonable priced considering the quality of ingredients, care, and thought put into their dishes. Always my go to for anyone asking for a ramen recommendation. Highly, highly recommend!

I’ve been to this place a few times and loved it every single time. Everything about this place is fantastic—the taste, the culture, the service, the vibe, and the overall experience. The food tastes amazing, and you can even choose the heat level for each meal. The bowls are beautifully presented. The servers are super welcoming and helpful. If you’re in Toronto on a cold day, I highly recommend the Red Dragon and Spicy Miso—they really warm you up from the inside. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to go back again myself.
