The food here is on another level—everything we ordered was so flavorful and fresh, and it all came out perfectly cooked. The menu is solid; you really can’t go wrong. Dikshant, our server, was awesome. Super friendly and always there when we needed something. We mentioned it was a birthday, and they brought out a special little treat, which made the night extra special. The drinks were next-level, too—great flavors and looked amazing (Instagram-worthy). Great spot for elevated Indian food and good vibes.

TL;DR: Had high expectations, and they completely exceeded them. Amazing food, drinks, and service—can’t recommend enough! We (3 people) walked in on Saturday around 6:30 PM and got seated right away—no wait, which was awesome. We had high expectations because of all the glowing reviews, but they completely blew us away! The food was incredible. Everything we tried was packed with flavor, super fresh, and cooked perfectly. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Dikshant, our server, was so friendly and helpful. He made sure we were taken care of the whole time without being overbearing. We were celebrating a birthday, and they surprised us with a little treat, which was such a sweet touch. The cocktails not only tasted great but were super pretty too. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

This place came recommended by a friend. I had ordered takeout. Chettinad chicken masala was tasty(asked the person to make it actual spice level). Paired with pickled onion, raita and garlic naan. We had an amazing time at Raftar during our visit. Good ambience, great music. Loved the food and the presentation was also very nice. Lama was our server and she was really very courteous. Appetizers and cocktails were great, however we felt the main course, curry especially, could have been a little better.

One of the best Indian restaurant I came across in Toronto. The food is always fresh and delicious, proper Indian flavours and spices. The atmosphere is really welcoming and engaging and the staff is really friendly and professional and the prices are really reasonable. Amazing place to hangout with friends or family!!!

Amazing quantity Amazing staff My always to go place, they regarded my loyalty by some benefits as well. I believe that this is by far the best indian food in downtown and I love the music and the aesthetic settings in this restaurant. 10/10 service from staff Best place to go with larger number of people

Highly recommend! With so many Indian restaurants to choose from, I’m glad we picked Raftaar. The food is exceptional, with a variety of unique and delicious dishes. The atmosphere is vibrant with a great DJ, and the drinks are awesome. They also offer plenty of vegetarian options, which is a huge plus! We had Chilli potato, Threaded Paneer stick, Tandoori Soya Chaap, Gully Burger. Must try!

We loved our experience here. The bartender and our waiter, Dikshant, was very knowledgeable and the music and food was just divine! Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back.
