Raani Fast Food

One of the best places to eat if you are craving for authentic Sri Lankan food. They have a good variety of options, and the one I went with was brown rice with chicken curry and the choice of 3 vegetables.

The food here is amazing, everything is fresh and authentic. I've tried multiple things from their menu and enjoyed it all. It is a small family run place, so nothing fancy but they deliver where it matters! Fresh, friendly and clean! The food is not overly greasy and they always ask how spicy you want your meal. The woman and man working here are incredibly friendly and really care about the food that they are serving. Keep up the amazing work and see you soon! Thanks for an amazing dinner!

I found Raani fast food when doing a Google search for a Sri Lankan restaurant online- one that was close to the 401 ramp on my way home from Vaughn. I used to live in Brampton and moved to the country about 2.5hours north. I always went to a Sri Lankan restaurant in Brampton and after being served old food, found another in Markham. Unfortunately they had served old food as well and the last few times the food was swimming in oil. Seeing the previous review about Raani fast food I was a little nervous as it was the most recent and had said the quality was not good. It couldn't have been more wrong. The food here was FANTASTIC. Everything was fresh, delicious and authentic. We tried the chicken biryani, chili chicken kottu, mutton kottu, mutton rolls and samosa. The biryani was by far the best I've had from Sri Lankan and Indian restaurants throughout the GTA. The flavor was amazing, the chicken leg and chunks were super fresh and tender. The kottu was equally as delicious. I will be stopping by on my next venture into the city. I picked it up for my family on Saturday and we are all craving it on Monday. The gentleman at the front of house was very friendly and genuinely cared about what we would think of his food, offering his buisness card. Do not let one bad review stop you from trying the food, the service is friendly with great potions and prices. I have to go into the city in the next week or 2 and will definitely be stopping by!

On two occasions I was given spoiled food. Very obviously bad smelling curry which I only saw when I got home. After the first time I still decided to give them a chance because the owners are very nice people. After the second occurrence I decided to stop going.

I have been going to Raani's for over 5 years now - food is definitely made with love! Mala is very kind in making suggestions and making food in no time when requested! Lovely place to eat 🙏🏼 Would definitely recommend 👌🏽

One of best small family owned take out Tamil food in Scarborough. Whenever I see family in the East End, I make sure i stop by Raani fast good to grab their delicious mutton rolls and chicken samosas. Their quality of food is consistent and the service is impeccable. I feel like I'm with family when I come to this place.
