Quik Chik - Heartland

Quick Chik is my go-to spot for great fried chicken. The food lately is always fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. Service is fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

I don’t normally eat fast food, but this place might change my mind. I couldn’t believe how their chicken was so juicy and soft on the inside and so crispy on the outside. This spot is quickly becoming my favourite. I also appreciate how friendly the staff is and how clean the facilities are. If you haven’t tried it yet, i seriously think you should!

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the restaurant has ample space for dining in, which is always a plus. I initially ordered the 4-piece chicken combo, but then noticed they had a special offer for $17 that included 6 pieces. I asked if I could update my order, and the store manager was kind enough to upgrade it without any hassle. However, they accidentally forgot to include the 2 biscuits that came with the deal. It was just a human error, so no big issues there. As for the food, it was fantastic! The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy, and the bone-in chicken—whether it was the breast, thigh, or leg—was delicious. The only minor hiccup was that the leg piece wasn’t as fresh as the rest, but it was still okay. Overall, the food is tasty and the prices are very affordable. Definitely worth a visit!

I think the place is under new management food quality is way better and the place is cleaner with better service . I hope they change the oil regularly to keep it fresh and maintains the quality. Giving 3 stars because they missed one item on the order.

Visited this located on our trip to Canada. Received amazing service from Arsh. She was friendly and helpful. Arsh went out of her way to help us find the best items for the best price!!

Quik Chik is absolutely fantastic!!!! Currently under new management, and they have done EVRYTHING RIGHT!!! MUST TRY! So flavourful and savoury! best of all their chicken tastes fresh, perfect crunch and perfect juiciness! Has my stamp of approval!

Went to pick up my order today, received it relatively to the time the app said it would be ready, chicken was soggy but that's our fault for leaving it for a while before eating. My issue is the Mac and cheese I ordered, not going to eat it because I've already been sick Friday due to bad chicken kabobs from a different establishment. If I get sick again from the chicken tomorrow I will be writing about it because everywhere I seem to go I get food poisoning so kinda hard to trust any establishment anymore. Anyways I've attached a picture of the questionable Mac and cheese which I doubt anyone here would eat.

HORRIBLE!!! Got the family feast with onion rings and a gravy on the side. To start, I had to wait 45mins for them to prepare it. After receiving it, I already had a bad feeling. The gravy is so watery and has other mixtures to it.. Seems like they literally used a chicken broth cube and mixed it in water. Ate some of the onion rings and it tasted HORRIBLE!! BLAND flavour. The chicken pieces and strips tasted literally like oil and only oil. They overfried the chicken completely. Look at the pictures, there are black spots on the pieces because of how overfried it is. 30mins later, after eating, I felt so sick and threw up. Worst mistake of my life. I'm not one to normally throw away my food, and this is the first time i threw it out!!! NEVER AGAIN. Close this place down....
