Excellent, high quality Italian fare. Attentive, informed service. Healthy portions and a decent wine list. Nice vibe, but spacing is a little tight between tables. Music a tad loud.. but, that seems the norm these days. I would go again.

I've eaten here many times, always for lunch, and the food is ALWAYS excellent. Likely the best carpaccio in the entire city. Because the food is so good, and the venue is small, the atmosphere is always crowded and loud.

What an amazing restaurant! The hostes tonight was so accommodating and figured out a way to seat us when the place was packed. They have half price wine on Wednesdays and the food was amazing. Was the best experience will definitely be back soon

Great italian gem on Yonge Street. They have outside patio seating but the road is too busy to really enjoy the experience with loud motorcycles and cars spewing emissions in combination with the humidity in the summer - its not a totally pleasant experience. Sit inside instead where it is nice and cool. The space is a little narrow and tight especially around the bar but the ambiance and decor is nice. The menu is a little pricey as was the cocktail list. I was not totally impressed by the selection. It was limited. I did appreciate the variety of greens / salads on the menu which were tasty but the portions were so small. My companion and I both had a bit of a tummy issue after eating and I got a canker sore from drinking water (which was strange) since I haven't had one in such a long time and this was the only place I had been to in public in a while. Not blaming them for this but it was a strange coincidence. Nonetheless, the overall experience was okay. There are other things on the menu to try but personally, I don't think I would get the value I expect. There are Italian restaurants in Yorkville that offer better value and experience.

Honestly one of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto in my opinion! Food is amazing! Service is good but sometimes the servers are a bit casual for an upscale restaurant. Also we went in the summer and there wasn’t AC (or maybe there was but it was still very hot inside) so just keep that in mind when deciding what to wear!

We had 4 amazing appetizers to share, and then shared the most disappointing ravioli dish especially for $46. We complained to the waiter and he explained they had just switched truffle suppliers… and apparently we were the victims of that poor choice on the restaurant’s part. No compensation was offered for the tasteless $46 entree. Giving it 4 stars still because the rest of the meal was divine. Was expecting to be blown away by main course and left disappointed.

Great service, fit our walk in between reservations. Lovely ambience & lots of options. Food was all very good & was able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Split focaccia, octopus, shrimp, broccolini, spinach paccheri(I think), & crab agnolotti between 3 of us & were full. Had an Il Volo which was very nice. Would come back again.

Great food. Great waiter. Service could have been faster but that depends on where you may be seated as we were closer to the restrooms stairwell. So watching customers walk back and forth while waitstaff tried to balance their walk without dropping cutlery was most of the scenery for us. Not everyone wants to sit outside on days it is 30+. Nonetheless a great place for foodies. Thank you Quanto Basta for the great dinner and cocktails!
