Qing's Cuisine

My husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight, and can confidently say we will never be back again. The food is terrible, the menu online doesn’t give a lot of information about the dishes and we were left stunned. We ordered all of my husbands favourite things, and he is STRUGGLING to even get through his plate, which if you knew him, you’d know is never an issue he faces. Their “orange peel chicken” is just string chicken, mixed with a bunch of veggies, missing the orange completely. The other chicken dishes we got (general Tso, Seasame, and sweet and sour) are pre breaded and frozen, the sauces are not typical. The sweet and sour chicken is pre tossed, not the chicken where you can add it yourself. The Cantonese chow main looks thrown together, and is extremely lacking in flavour. They noodles are both bland but have a weird taste to them too. We paid $80 and can’t even get through a single dish. We feel we wasted the money, so we wanted to try and warn others, do not go here.

The food was great, however, the owner wants people to eat and leave within 30 minutes. I went we a friend that is visiting Canada from Peru, and another one who lives here in Barrie. We sat down and had lunch and we were talking and having a wonderful time. There was enough room for other to come in and sit down. Not once was there a need for us to leave, as it never was full. A lot of people now a days order and pick up. The owner had the audacity to say to us "I am going to start renting you the booth." How rude and such disrespectful behavior. Do you know how many people we have taken there? Do you know how many times we go there per year? That was so disrespectful. The waitresses were amazing, unfortunately, I will no longer ever set a foot there. It seems the owner has no customer service experience. So unfortunately, however, there are other restaurants in Barrie that are as good or better. So sad :(

I tried the Beef with Black Bean Sauce Ho Fun, they cook there food over a open flame and that's what gives every dish the AMAZING SMOKEY FLAVOR. Food is always fresh ,staff and services are amazing! Regardless of what you choose on the menu you will not be disappointed!

Good food, good ambience with plenty of Chinese, Thai and some Mongolian options. They're pretty popular in the area and quite busy with orders too! Servers are friendly and helpful. I'd recommend the hot and sour soup, which I loved among everything else I'd ordered. Portion sizes are quite good too!

We ordered 4 lunch specials for 2 adults and 2 kids but we only could finish 3. The portion is very big and they include 2 sides. Chinese dishes are delicious. However, the Thai dishes are not good. Don’t pick pad Thai.

A very tasty fresh meal with large portions. 10/10! The staff was very attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in. It also seems very busy for take out, so I look forward to taking an order home in the future. We had the chicken curry, Shanghai chicken chow mein, sesame chicken, coconut chicken with peanuts, 4 vegetable mix and beef tenderloin (not pictured).

Qing’s Cuisine offers great customer service and top notch Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese food options. Food is flavourful, plentiful, and fresh. Their fried rice is perfect consistency. Breaded items are lightly breaded so you enjoy more meat with a light, crispy coating. We order from them almost weekly and are never disappointed. Fave dishes: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, and Lemongrass Pork Chops. We have enjoyed all dishes ordered to date.

Ordered lunch, came with salad and choice of soup or spring roll. I ordered the Spicy Beef Pad Thai, and it was the best Pad Thai I have had in Barrie. Perfect amount of spice that did not overpower the flavour. Huge portions. I could only ear half of mine in one sitting. I tried hubby's Chicken Thai Fried Rice, and also liked that. Will definitely return and recommend!
