Qing Shu Malatang

First time trying Qing shu malatang and it was delicious!! I loved the soup base options compared to other mlt restos. I got the spicy beef bone (little spicy) and it was the perfect amount of spice for me. Usually when I ask for little spice at mlts it still comes out very spicy, so I definitely recommend Qing Shu if you're looking for something more mild but still very tasty. My friends got the tomato and pork bone and said they were both very flavourful as well! Prices were also very reasonable. There is also an unlimited sauce bar (for the sesame sauce lovers) and plum juice station. I will say that the sesame sauce at other mlts was more delicious, but the broth was so flavourful that I didn't even think I needed the sesame sauce. Overall great mlt and would definitely come again!!

I really enjoyed this store in downtown so I decided to take a visit to the Scarborough one. The quality of vegetables are really good here and the soup is really high quality. Their 2nd level spicy is perfect! Next time I will try the third level😝 Although there was no pork meat when I visited here but I remember seeing one in dt location. I would definitely come here when I’m craving for malatang

Malatang allows you to customize what you want in your soup, with many selection of veggies, meat, fishballs, noodles etc. The soups they had were all delicious, including the tomato and recommended spicy soup base. We enjoyed the fresh toppings available and the wide selection of toppings.

Malatang is one of my favourite meals, especially in the winter! I have been to their yonge finch location but this was my first time at their steeles location Both delicious!! I love their signature broth and the variety they offer

We have been wanting to try mala tang and was not disappointed. Food was absolutely delicious. Nice and rich broth (a1) and was nice to self serve and pick what we want. The a1 was the most popular but wasn't too spicy. Next time I'll go for the mote spicy option. I liked how there were sweet potato noodles and lots of vegetable options. You walk on, grab a bowl and fill it up with whatever you want. You being it to the cash and choose your soup. You pay and they give you your cutlery and you find an open table. Once the food is cooked they will bring it to you. I can't wait to come again, price was great, food was great.

I love their malatang! Valuable and yummy! Reminds me of home Their seafood was fresh and the shrimps were so big! Good value! I'll come next time definitely. Btw I had this in Yonge street, I don't know why i couldn't find their Yonge shop on yelp

Accidentally found this place on google map. Fan of spicy so came In For a try. If hygiene is your concern maybe not a good time to come since I see the bowls for pick your own food (stacked up) is right at the door, with no covering. Plenty of options, many of different soup too. The price is measure by 100g (2.99) non member. Spicy soup is okay, big bowl! I got my bowl for 20 bucks. Not cheap!

Very cozy restaurant. People working there were super friendly and food was really good. I’d tried different small hot pot restaurants, but this one was the best. They had 8 different flavors of soup, compared to many other restaurants where only one kind of soup available. I ordered the spicy beef bone soup. There are mild/median/spicy choices and I had the mild one. I’m not the really the spicy eating guy but the mild is no problem for me. I went there during soft opening and got 20% off. I really recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes small hot pot.
