Pure Spirits

Went here for my birthday dinner and wow! What a fantastic dining experience. We did the seafood experience for two which consisted of chilled seafood and then hot items. I have a big appetite but could not finish the final dish so it’s a great portion for the cost. Everything was super favourable and super fresh. Great mix of dishes and a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

Ok so the food here is fantastic. You’re missing out if you don’t try the many different types of oysters they have. Also recommend the sautéed olives and the crab cakes. Top tier service as well. Our server Shar was so kind and attentive. We’ll be coming back soon!

Food was excellent, oysters also great. I expected the price to be on the higher end but I did not expect to be charged for the water or the oyster sauces. This has been the only time I've had oysters and been charged for sauces. Regarding water, we were offered still or sparkling, I didn't expect this to be the type of restaurant where I had to specify we wanted regular tap water.

Good quality of food and excellent service. The waitress was extremely kind and got engaged into conversation with us and was attending us all the time. The ceviche needed a bit more acidity and the creme brûlée was a bit too sweet. The creme brûlée’s crust was also a bit too thick which did not fully match the custard’s delicate texture. Overall, the food and the drinks were good.

I am a tourist and bring a small dog. The restaurant is dog friendly, which is more important to me than food. In fact, not only is the food delicious, but the service attitude is also very good. Although I don't know the name of the waiter, I am very grateful for the high-quality service he provided. Thank you 🙏🏻

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pure Spirit in the Distillery District, Toronto, and it was an unforgettable experience. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes, and the food was so good that I completely forgot to take pictures! The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The mashed potatoes were creamy and perfectly seasoned, making for a deliciously satisfying meal. The atmosphere at Pure Spirit was cozy and inviting, with a unique charm that only the Distillery District can offer. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made sure everything was just right. It’s not often that a meal is so good it makes you forget everything else, but this one definitely did!

I think I’ve been spoiled by having bc several amazing crab cakes in Maryland, but the crab cake here wasn’t anything close to amazing. Still tasted good but it was a bit too mushy and didn’t remind me of a proper Maryland crab cake. Flavor was bit muted. The service was excellent and the oysters were great. The accompanying salad was lovely and very fresh.

Our GPS turned us around and made finding Pure Spirits a bit hard but we are so glad we did! Everthing was fantastic from the dozen suck sampler oysters to the pasta and desserts and the amazing selection of craft beers and cocktails everything was top notch. Our server Tina was fantastic! We can't wait to visit again.
