Pura Vida was an excellent experience! The food was very flavorful and authentic, and the dishes came out quickly. Our appetizer was particularly delicious. The service was great—our waiter was friendly, and the chef even came out to introduce himself, which added a nice personal touch. The atmosphere was cozy and fun. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to others. A 10/10 experience.

Pura Vida outdid themself. The most creative restaurant I have ever been to. Every single meal was made to perfection. The texture, The flavours and the serving told you they put their time and all into making their customers satisfy. Customer service was 10/10. Highly recommend especially for a date night.

I LOVE this place! The food, atmosphere and service was a 10/10. Each dish was unique, nothing I have ever tried before and it did not disappoint. You can tell they put a lot into what they do. I will definitely be back again. Thank you for having us❤️

Gluten-Free Options: Yes Halal/ Kosher Options: No Vegan Option: Yes Vegetarian Options: Yes Nut Free Options: Yes Dairy Alternatives : Unsure First Impression: Cute spot with fun decorations. The space is a little small but has plenty of seating. Order: The fish casados (Pura Vida special lunch) and beef empanadas. Favourite: Beef empanadas and their coleslaw that came with the casados. The beef empanadas were filled with tender beef and cheese and nice and crispy on the outside. My husband is Colombian and I am used to the Colombian empanadas so these were a nice different surprise. The coleslaw is not like the average slaw you get in Canada, it’s very fresh and healthy. Critiques: We found the portions small, especially the fish in the casados. Bonus: They have a photo moment at the entrance for people who love to capture their memories. This was my first time trying Costa Rican food & it definitely wont be my last! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is beautiful. It's not very big but tables are spaced out nicely. They have a huge tv that shows pictures/videos of costa rica while you enjoy your meal. I got the Huevos rancheros & my partner the gallo pinto. Great portion sizes & taste was 10/10! I want to try their whole menu 😍😂

Pura Vida is a new restaurant in Toronto's St. Clair West neighborhood, specializing in Latin American cuisine. They take pride in serving fusion Latin American dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming ambiance, making it the perfect place to gather with friends and family. It’s a small restaurant with six tables but the ambiance is beautiful, reminds one of the beautiful Costa Rica.
