I recently tried their sandwiches (panner, aloo tikki and Schezwan club sandwich) they are awesome. Very tasty and filling at a reasonable price. Girls at the counter are kind and polite. Their service is amazing. Must try their ginger tea as well.

The vada pav is very tasty and service was really good. They were able to accommodate a late night request for me and make them mild. Definitely recommend!

They used to make good Bhel but now it lost its flavour and taste. Apparently they are using pre-mix. The lady at the counter said. Now it feels like you are eating a salad with Tomatoes and Mangoes. No peanuts, crunch or anything that would make it a Bhel.

I bought vegetable samosas, they do only vegetarian foods. It was very good. Spice level was to point, not too spices not too shallow. You get a bang on your bucks for the quality and price.

Ordered food for 2 corporate events from Pukka Desi. One was in Sq One Mississauga and other was in Toronto Downtown. Extraordinary food. Very authentic India vegeterian taste. All cuisines were top of the line. Service delivery on time and very professional. Everybody at the event appreciated food very much. The events were super hit all because of the food. Highly recommended.

This is a true South Asian (Desi) joint, inside the little India Grocers. If you want to experience the Indian street style on the go kind of food, certainly visit this place. It is a must visit take-out corner for vegetarians, as they do not serve any items made of meats, seafood or poultry. I have always observed them handle the food responsibly, in a hygienic manner. The ingredients they use are always fresh. The staff is very humble and friendly. Talk to the ladies there (Foram, Madhuri or Navdeep) and they will be glad to customize some of the dishes, as per your taste. The owner Nimit bhai is very engaging and he makes sure that patrons are served well. Some of my family's favourite items are paani puri, bhel, dahi puri, kachori chaat, ragda patis, samosas and veg/manchurian/paneer puffs, kitkat or chikoo milk shake, tamrind soda and much more. Do try their new veggie burgers (they have three or four kinds of it) or vada paav. Pakka Desi means truly like Back-home, and this place does justify the name!
