My favorite spot on King Street! We started with the Ricotta Wild Honey and Calamari appetizers, both of which were absolutely delicious. For the mains, we enjoyed the Marinara Pizza and Ciao Bella Rigatoni, and they were just as incredible. The service was outstanding— highly recommend!

Great visit to this place. Had to wait a little for a table, but was totally worth it considering the experience we had. Food was awesome, service was good too. Just one thing, the pasta was a little too oily. Other than that, everything was top notch. Definitely recommend trying it out over the fancy restaurant chains which are overpriced.

To start, service was very mid. Atmosphere was cute but it was incredibly loud, we couldn’t hear our server nor each other. Took forever to get our food and once we got it, it was bland and watered down. Everything we got was missing salt and pepper at the bare minimum. Caesar salad was watery and I couldn’t taste the dressing one bit. The vodka pizza was runny. The whipped ricotta and wild honey was pretty good, but again needs more flavour. The Lucia pasta was not only flavourless but it was also swimming in a pond of oil. Overall if you want drinks and a cute vibe, this is a good spot, otherwise this spot is a miss.

Genuinely cannot recommend this place enough! We came at 5.30pm for the happy hour, shared a salad, a pasta, and a pizza, along with 2 cocktails each, and a pitcher of bellini all for $65, by far the best value of any meal I’ve had in years. The food was also insanely good, and the service was quick and efficient, event though it was super busy. The decor is gorgeous and felt really welcoming and cosy. Our server was Charlie and she was so friendly and helpful, as was all the other staff we interacted with. 10/10 all round!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Jodie at Public Gardens. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome with her warm demeanor and attention to detail. She went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed and even personalized her service to accommodate a few special requests. Her attentiveness was remarkable—I never once felt rushed, and she anticipated my needs before I even voiced them. It’s clear she genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for her guests. There’s been a lot of hype over this restaurant so I had to give it a try and it is 100p worth it!! It is located on King street west so definitely in a busy area, make sure to have a reso! We ordered the Ricotta wild honey (SO GOOD), spaghetti pomodoro burrata, vodka gnocchi, Lucia, copta bacon and maradona. Of the pastas, the Lucia was a standout. It’s a pesto based pasta and it was perfectly saucy and creamy. The real star of the meal were the pizzas, specifically the maradona. It was sweet and savoury, the crust was perfectly crispy with the chewiest dough all throughout. Definitely a must get on the menu. The ambiance of the restaurant was good with low lit lighting, perfect for a date spot. The service was also great and a few accommodations to the dishes were made. A new spot saved on the list, can’t wait to come back!

First visit was an amazing experience!! Nicole our server and all the staff were super friendly!! The food was delicious and came out fast!! The decor is very interesting and made you feel as though you were in a restaurant in Little Italy in NYC!! Highly recommended!! We will become regulars!!

I recently visited Public Gardens which just opened last weekend, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. The cocktails are absolutely top-notch, with a well-crafted menu that complements the overall vibe of the place. The happy hour from 5 pm to 7 pm every day is a fantastic deal, making it the perfect spot to unwind after work. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and fast. The food? Outstanding. I had one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted! It’s clear that they pay close attention to both quality and flavor. The highlight, though, has to be the Rooftop Garden. It’s beautifully designed, with greenery all around, and it immediately brought back memories of the stylish rooftop bars in NYC. Definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a great evening out!
