I had high expectations coming here for a quick bite but unfortunately was a bit disappointed. The place was nice but I feel like the server did not pay much attention to us. When we ordered a steak, he did not ask us how we would like it cooked. He did not show us the steak before cooking like this restaurant usually does. He did not give us steak knives until we were half done (see in picture). The steak came partially burnt on the outside for some pieces. However I enjoyed the atmosphere and some of the other foods I ordered. But I don’t think I would come here again anytime soon.

This michelin recommended restaurant is located a bit inside on the right as soon as you cross the queen st. and shaw st. intersection. The menu is balanced with fantastic seafood, big meats cooked on the grill and serious vegetable preparations. I had the gin fizz cocktail, Prime rib roast (12 oz) with Horseradish on the side and the must try delicious choclate cake for dessert. The overall experience was simply amazing and would strongly recommend this restaurant!

Prime Seafood Palace is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. A culinary journey that makes you feel as if you are enveloped in a warm, inviting ambiance that's perfect for a night of gluttonous delight. Let's start with the lobster spaghetti. Oh, the creamy, nutty goodness! It's like a hug from a lobster loving Italian grandma. The bone-in strip loin? A carnivore's dream. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and enough to feed a small army (or just two very hungry people). The palace potatoes? Crispy, flaky, and downright addictive. The chili aioli? A spicy little devil that will make your taste buds dance. The summer squash? Silky, smooth, and oh so satisfying. A vegetable dish that will make you question your entire life choices. Dessert, however, is where things take a turn. The maple tart, while tasty, could use a smaller slice of cheese. The chocolate cake, on the other hand, is a rich affair that might be a bit too much for the faint of heart. It's like a culinary tribute to Bruce Bogtrotter from Matilda - a masterpiece of indulgence. And let's not forget the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. It’s pretty, but make sure you look up.. way up. you might just find a little surprise.

Hard to put my experience into words. This is, without question, one of the greatest restaurants in the world. Unpretentious, spectacular food, and the service is exceptional. On a business trip, I dined alone and the servers offered expert advice and the team provided single diner portions for some dishes so I could experience an array of the menu. I took advantage of many of the recommendations from the team and I have no regrets. I don’t even like chocolate cake but I took a slice home and practically inhaled it. I will be back, this place is phenomenal.

Incredible birthday dinner. Absolutely loved the palace potatoes, filet mignon and crudo. My steak was cooked beautifully and the pepper just delicious. I was not a fan of the palace bacon but that is only because I do not like fat on meat. They made me a custom amaretto sour with egg whites and did such a great job.

Prime Seafood Palace is the only restaurant we have returned to in years and years of restaurant adventures. We try and do something new all the time we travel and just had to come back to Prime Seafood Palace. We made reservations for this past Saturday night about 2 weeks in advance. Not sure if it is always necessary to book that far in advance but maybe for a Saturday and 9pm was the only thing available so I’m thinking yes to the need to book well in advance. We were greeted by Sarah (who is an all star by a landslide). I could have had Sarah sit right down with us for our whole dinner and it would have made the experience that much better. The food was phenomenal. Our server was incredible and I feel terrible that I forget her name. She was knowledgeable and personable and didn’t even judge us when we “doubled down” on her suggestion of dish amounts. (She suggested conservatively 4 dishes per couple and we ordered 8). The potatoes are a must. Do not second guess that one. Get the prime rib. Do not bother with the fancy steaks. The prime rib is where it’s at. The horseradish was the best I’ve ever had. The Yorkshire pudding was HUGE. the fondue was super cute and cool. The steak tartare is one of our favs we’ve ever had and we’ve had a lot! The cabbage is a must. The only thing I would say we could have passed on was the butternut squash. It was good but maybe not super necessary to be one of our 8 courses. The lobster spaghetti tastes like a super fancy version of old school tuna casserole. So that’s a yes for me! And we have a tradition of if the restaurant has 4 or less desserts, getting them all and they had more choices than 4 so we ordered 3 and Sarah brought out 4 anyway and candles lit for my birthday and said we had to even it out with the chocolate cake and that dessert (all 4) was on them which was the sweetest thing and the entire gesture of her as a human and then this made me cry. Anyway. We love this place and will be back again for sure. Oh and it’s by far the most masterful piece of art of a restaurant I’ve ever seen and just WAIT for the bathroom.

Outrageous pricing for the actual taste and the quality of food. Atmosphere, interior design and architecture is beautiful, service is also pretty great. But honestly they need some serious adjustments in their menu. Seafood isn’t fresh, prime rib was thinly sliced grease, Halibut looks boiled and was paired with yellow sauce that tasted like the worst version of butter.

The best part of my dining experience here was the service. I came here for a friend’s birthday and the service was excellent. I was asked if I wanted another drink the moment I finished one every time. I used the washroom a few times and each time it was cleaned and topped up with paper towels. They operate this place like some military function.
