Prime Döner Shawarma | Dessert

They put burned dried chicken in it they made the shawarma super empty. I’ve been here before and they gave me a good shawarma but the employees have changed and give bad service and bad shawarmas. Such a bad experience and I bought 4 shawarmas. Very disappointed do not recommend going here!

TL;DR: * Portion size is huge * Unique shawarma wrap recipe. Like the Drake song, it’s the best I’ve ever had (ingredients are super fresh) * Ample seating * Well priced * They bring your food to you I work out in the area and have basically had all the shawarma there is to eat around here after I gym. I know good shawarma when I’ve had it. I was on the heels of a bad experience at another area shawarma establishment when this place opened up a few months ago. Right on time, this spot is the truth. I can only speak to the shawarma wrap as that is my jam, but buddy.. First, it has all the ingredients you’d expect from a takeout shawarma spot but the recipe is unlike anything else I’ve had. So good. The ingredients are orders of magnitude fresher than anywhere else and the tstasiki sauce tastes like they churned it by hand themselves in the back. I could be wrong but there’s one guy in an apron here who I think is the mastermind behind the whole place. When someone puts a lot of thought and care into what you’re eating, you can taste it and it’s evident that’s what he's done. The first time I went in, I watched how they made the sandwich of the person ahead of me and it was like they were putting together a piece of art. That’s how careful they are. The chicken is seasoned and tender and the hot sauce I think is a house creation. Just perfect. The size of the wrap is huge and the price is fantastic, even without the student discount. In this economy?? Makes a difference. They have tables upstairs where I never have to fight for a seat and there’s a breezy open window in the summer time. They offer to bring your food to you once you’ve paid which is a bonus and the staff is kind and enthusiastic about the food. I’m not a write-a-review type. I’m going out on a limb for these guys ‘cause I want them to be around. They’re my new favourite. This is the level of excellence Toronto needs more of. I checked to see if there were any other Prime Doner locations and I was surprised that there weren’t. They’ve got the formula though, I predict a chain of these popping up in no time.

This place isnt the same pasta place all the reviews are talking about, its a Turkish Shawarma shop with great portions, very good pricing (with student discounts too) and kind staff. Recommended for anyone looking for authentic Turkish doner

I went here for lunch and it was delicious. The food arrived in about 10 minutes and it wasn't busy. It was really good and they had a bunch of vegan options. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Portion sizes were perfect for me and everyone there was really nice as well!

Amazing service and amazing pasta on the wheel! I’ve had the fresh fettuccine pasta twice now and it’s been great both times. My only complaint is they are very rarely available on door dash for delivery! Wish they would utilize it more.

Absolutely fantastic experience at this new restaurant! The fresh pasta on a Parmesan wheel was the best I’ve had in Toronto. We also tried a couple of sandwiches, which were generously filled with meat and offered great value for money. We were so impressed at lunch that we returned for dinner the same day. Definitely worth a visit!
