Prague Restaurant

Prague is one of my favourite restauarants in Scarborough. A hidden gem. We hosted our wedding dinner here last Saturday and everything was fantastic. The service was excellent, the food was yummy (our guests really enjoyed the breaded mushrooms), and it was an excellent team to work with to arrange everything for our event. They even provided some surprise touches such as fairy lights around our cupcakes! Our experience was fantastic and I will continue to come back again and again.

A true Czech/Slovak gem hidden in a park! As such, it's a bit out of the way if you don't drive, but the gorgeous scenery, impeccable service, and unbelievably exceptional food make the trek more than worth it!

The restaurant feels like a hidden oasis in Scarborough. Very spacious for indoor dining with big windows. The patio is equally as spacious with lovely greenery view. Service was great for ordered drinks. I didn't find the food to be consistent - vegan couscous salad was blend and overdone, yet the gravy on the pork roast special was very salty. The pierogis and breaded mushrooms were on point. Food took a bit long to come out.

Enjoyable experience having ham and mozz schnitzel in a lovely atmosphere. Recommend upgrading the side to the spitzel. Made reservation for five and was promptly seated after arriving early. Enjoyed the red and the white sangria over dinner.

First time visiting Prague Restaurant and it won’t be our last. The food was freshly prepared and came out perfect. We had the fried mushrooms which had an amazing batter and sauce, along with fried pickles. For the mains we opted for the beef goulash and the pork schnitzel. The potion sizes were more than we expected and definitely exceeded our expectation. For dessert, we got the strawberry Palačinky, which was light but very satisfying. I wish there was more strawberry filling though. Overall we enjoyed our dinner, the dining area was cozy and will be returning again for sure! Definitely a must visit if you’re in Scarborough

Great experience but not perfect. The food was tasty and the portions are big. Prices are high but fair. Garlic bread was disappointing as it was just their normal bread soaked in oil and deep fried crispy with pieces of raw garlic on it. Atmosphere is beautiful. This area is full of trees and natural land and is very quiet as there are no streets nearby. The service left much to be desired. The server didn't know how to pour the wine so she spilled some of it after each glass. She also didn't bring us extra plates as requested, we had to ask 3 times. But an amazing experience nonetheless. Will return for sure!

We celebrated a new job at Prague restaurant. While we enjoyed the service, the ambiance of the restaurant and the particularly lively environment on a Friday evening, we felt that the quality of the food was not up to the expectation. Everything seemed to have been reheated rather than being served fresh.

Prague restaurant is a particularly fabulous place to dine during the warm spring-summer months, with alfresco dining on their patio which has a lovely view of a vast green space. Authentic Czech beers and food are served. I have enjoyed everything I’ve had there. Service is warm and friendly. It can take a little longer for food when the place is packed so take the opportunity to enjoy some drinks, view and fresh air if you happen to be outside. Free parking on-site, takes credit cards. Highly recommend this place for outdoor dining on a nice evening!
