Had a really excellent dinner at Porzia's tonight. Not only did the lasagna live up to the hype, but the other dishes we ordered were also excellent, especially the Black Forest soft serve sundae. I appreciated that they had a pretty high ratio of staff to guests, so the service was overall at a high level. My one little annoyance was that they put my dirty fork (after eating a Caesar salad, before the lasagna) back on the table. It's a tiny thing, but if you have a beautiful room and generally careful service, why wouldn't you just take the dirty fork away with the rest of the appetizer dishes? But thanks to the generally attentive service, I was able to ask for and receive a clean fork very quickly. Will definitely go back and try some more dishes.

This restaurant is new to have online reservation service. I had a reservation today and, yes, I was 20 minutes late. When I arrived, the waitress claimed she had called me, but I showed her my phone and there was no call. They seated us, but still ended up charging me a $100 no-show fee, which felt completely unreasonable. Totally a joke as a restaurant. The ambiance was nice, and the food looked good, though the taste was just average. The lasagna, in particular, was hard and had a dry crust. Our waitress, Sofia, is nice. But the receptionist with glasses and a pony tail, however, was shockingly rude. She came over to tell us we needed to leave for the next reservation, which we understood, but her tone and attitude were unnecessarily harsh and dismissive. This experience left a really bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you're willing to pay for someone to ruin your evening.

Porzia's serves up incredibly authentic Italian cuisine. Their salad and lasagna Bolognese taste just like my Nonna's Sunday special, capturing the true flavours of Italy. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine taste of Italian cuisine.

We visited during the 1 year anniversary and the overall experience was 10/10. This is a very intimate spot with limited tables, but the wait was only about 5 minutes. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The lasagna was 1/2 price which was a great value. Definitely don’t sleep on this local spot

Fantastic spot to enjoy some quality Italian food. The venue is small, but it works in its favour for creating a cozy atmosphere. I loved the lasagne bolognese. It amazes me how they are are able to keep it consistent throughout, as usually people burn the edges which makes those annoying hard pieces. That's not the case here - it's a masterpiece.

The calamari and lasagna were delightful. There was another pasta dish with shrimps which I found to be average, also the cocktails were tiny and overpriced. The service was intimate. I would come back solely for the lasagna, some of the best I've tried

Service and atmosphere are very good but unfortunately the food is lacking. Tastes a little overcooked and lacks flavour. It’s not bad but for the price you can do better. The appetizers were very good however, I recommend the prosciutto and crostino

My friends and I came to Porzia’s to celebrate my birthday. We waited a little more than an hour for our table, as they do not take reservations. Initially we were told it would take around 30-40mins for our table, which I thought was ok. The hour did drag on though, there is not much you can do around this area while waiting for a table. Fast forward, we finally get seated. The wait was so worth it because the food was spectacular. We ordered the focaccia and olives, panelle fritte and calamari to share. All of it was delicious.. the olives were so good that we ordered more to share. For the mains, I ordered the canestri w/ spicy rose.. and let me tell you, it was 10/10. Finally, a pasta that lives up to its name. This sauce has become my favourite sauce in the city. I’ve been raving about it to all my friends and coworkers. I absolutely loved this dish. My friends ended up ordering the tagliatelle red shrimp al limone. They both loved it and one of my friends ended up ordering one to go for lunch the next day. To end the meal, we got the tiramisu soft serve to share. For drinks, I definitely recommend the aperol spritz! It’s been a while since I’ve been very satisfied with a meal. Porzia’s definitely exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to return.
