Pop Up House

I tried their daily special iced lemon tea for $1.50 and it was very good! I usually ask for no sugar, but the owner was super nice and explained that he actually makes the tea using tea leaves so it is stronger than other places that uses tea bags. So he suggested to add a little bit of sugar, and he was right. The drink was very good and refreshing! Good deal and good service, would come by again if shopping at this plaza.

This place has such awesome prices. These are like…early 2000’s prices. I was so shocked, I thought it was a misprint. It’s operated by a single, older gentleman and he’s very polite and friendly. Wife and I got 2 bbt and 2 egg waffles and it was $10 for both. Food/drinks were pretty good (and even better when you factor in the price). If I lived in the neighborhood I’d be coming by at least once a day.

Tried this place randomly while I was waiting for my haircut and got a egg/bubble waffle. I've had a LOT of these in my life and this is one of the better places. It's also only $2.50, which is a stupidly reasonable price

The owner is an older gentleman who is very nice and welcoming to all his customers! The food and drinks here is amazing and good priced! He accepts cash, debit, and credit card!

Great HK snacks place, reminds me of my primary school days. The egg waffles and condense milk & peanut butter waffles are very good. Owner is very nice as well.

The best waffle I’ve had so far - fresh, crispy outside but soft inside, authentic. The price is amazing for the quality of the waffle. It costed $2.25+tax and $1 for my plum tea. Edit: we went so often the owner recognizes us now and gave us cute decor for our ice cream waffle

Like whoa! this gem of a place with some amazing bubble waffles! I think I found my new favourite place for bubble waffles! So fresh and SO MANY DIFFERENT FLAVOURS! they even have quite a few flavours you can’t get anywhere else! the bubble waffle made fresh on when you order is soft and has a nice chew, but has that little bit of crunch in all the right places as the right time. Don’t know how to explain it, but you just gotta try it for yourself! Had the original to ensure I had no other flavours to hinder my initial taste test and I might even say that adding flavours is doing it wrong! It’s that awesome here! Also had the milk and white chocolate chips and had that nice melted gooey that we all come to love in warm chocolate! Service was awesome! They do mainly speak Cantonese, but I know English is available but just be patient. Definitely have to give this place a shot! Totally recommend this spot! Great place. Staff was very friendly and even though their prices are very, very affordable (everything is under $5), they have deals for their drinks! Weekdays after 7pm, drinks are $3, and after 8pm on weekends. They have a wide selection of ice cream and tea flavours. The wait was a little long, but it's expected for that price. They also sell random knick-knacks (children's shoes, keychains, flashlights, etc.) which was kind of weird, but all in all pretty good! Will be back to try their pineapple bun with ice cream 👌
