Pomegranate Restaurant

We visited the Pomegranate last week with our kids, mother, and auntie. It was an absolute hit with everyone! It was the first visit for the kids and they were blown-away. When my wife and I would visit this restaurant many years ago, they served an amazing lamb dish that is no longer on the menu. When we made our reservation, we asked about the dish and they said that they would make it for our dinner!!! That is the kind of experience that makes an evening special, but also shows the kind of people that run The Pomegranate. Highly, highly recommended.

A great place where you can bring your friends to taste persian food. Quality of the food is great. Just a little bit pricey but the overall experience will worth it! So far I liked: fesenjoon, shirin polo and mirza ghasemi Good service: very nice and friendly staff Atmosphere: very nostalgic! Not a very big space so make sure to call for reservation especially on weekends. BTW,it is a great place for a 1st date too!

We went there as a group of family. The restaurant was very cozy with a traditional Persian atmosphere. We ordered Khoreshte Fesenjaan, Kashk-e-Bademjann, and Mirza Ghasemi. The taste of them was very good. After dinner, we ordered tea with baklava. We were very satisfied with everything. The price was very reasonable. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I was so excited to try this place but it is very overhyped in my opinion. The service is good but the food is average for Persian food. I got to try 4 different dishes and none of them blew my mind. The meat was well cooked but the flavors were not balanced. The rice could have been more flavorful as well, it was very bland. Regardless, it is worth coming here one time to experience the cute atmosphere but that’s all.

My first time trying a Persian cuisine. Awesome place! I had a wonderful experience with new flavours that wakened my tasting pallets. Considering I have a sweet tooth, I love their ice cream with rose water…so refreshing to end the meal!

Little Persian restaurant in a very hip location. The interior was nice and the restaurant had great ambiance. I started with mint tea and the eggplant dip. The dip was really tasty and with the bread it was very tasty. For the main, I ordered the Fesenjan with chicken but it wasn’t my favourite. The gravy had a sweet and sour taste and there wasn’t much chicken in the dish. For dessert I got the saffron ice cream and that was delicious. It’s a large portion. The service was good but they can be very busy.
