Playa Cabana Cantina

Interior ambience is wonderful and place was packed on a Friday night. I had been when it just opened and recall having a good time. My friend had reserved and we were shown to a bar table. Unfortunately the stools were way too short, which made for a very uncomfortable experience. It’s possible to hear your neighbours conversation. Ask for a table with chairs. The service was smooth and food came quickly. First were the standard margaritas ($17 -seems to be average these days anywhere trendy; a pitcher for $85!? That’s crazy) I had chicken tinga tacos and my friend tried the cauliflower- flavour of that was outstanding. We had two, but I’d suggest three if hungry.

Absolute best tacos I've ever had in my life hands down nothing comes close and I've been to Mexico and tons of other Mexican joints. This is honestly just a different level I recommend the La truck and the shrimp taco.

This is a solid spot for tacos in The Junction area.  I dropped by for lunch when it wasn't busy, as the evenings, especially weekends, can be packed and lively.  The space is well decorated and provides a hip ambiance. The service was friendly and efficient, making for a pleasant dining experience. The food itself was tasty and well-flavored, though it was a bit pricier than other taco joints nearby. Despite this, I found no major complaints. For those driving to the area, there's ample street parking as well as Green P lots near by. Overall, it's a good spot to satisfy your taco cravings, and enjoy some drinks!

The beef tacos were incredible—easily the best I’ve ever had. Our server, Lucy, was amazing—so friendly, dedicated, and really attentive to our table. Thank you for making it such a wonderful dining experience for me and my family.

I had an incredible dining experience at Playa Cabana Cantina, thanks to our server Anastasiia. She was attentive, friendly, and truly passionate about the menu. I tried the steak tostada on her recommendation, and it was hands down the best special I’ve ever had—flavorful and perfectly prepared. The beef tacos were equally amazing, bursting with authentic flavors. Anastasiia made our visit memorable, and I can’t wait to return for more delicious food and excellent service! Highly recommend!

Food was tasty but I really did not enjoy my overpriced margarita. We left the experience feeling a bit underwhelmed about it all, and the price just a bit too high.

I've been to the restaurant several times, and it never disappoints. The quality of the drinks is very good. The service from the staff is also very good, and they are always very friendly and attentive. I love the paloma and the margarita. The chorizo tacos are my favorite. I will go back many more times.

My fiance and I wanted to go to somewhere good for tacos. We love to go out and enjoy the whole dining experience. This restaurant was honestly amazing minus one thing. The service was very disappointing. With such an upbeat ambience you would expect your waitress to be happy and greet you nicely. From the minute we walked in our waitress Lucy had a miserable look on her face she walked right passed us never greeted us. When she served us she never once asked how things were that is appetizer, drinks, and dinner. Not once did she think to come ask if everything was okay. I would of rated 5 stars if she had been happy and attentive. I would love to come back but pray we get a different waiter.
