Dec. 23, 2024 Had a late lunch during the game today. The atmosphere and service were great. The food was disappointing. The charcuterie board had barely any meats and the little salami or prosciutto that was there had a bad after taste and was the same as you would buy at the deli counter in the supermarket. It was NOT anything special at all, not homemade, no specialties, nothing. The board was mostly covered in veggie chips. Don't waste over $30 on this appetizer. The braised beef was better but overpriced. We have had better elsewhere. The prime rib we ordered they said was 14 oz and it was only about 6 to 8 oz. Perhaps it was 14 oz uncooked. Also overpriced. We don't mind paying higher prices for dining out but this did not cut it, to say the least.

Food/cocktails were surprisingly good, service was amazing until all the other tables filled up (understandably so). Had to wave down the server for our bill and credit card machine. Overall, would recommend to visit!

I really enjoyed a dinner here during a Maple Leafs game on Nov 16, 2024. Great steak and oysters and wonderful cocktails. My server was a lovely blond lady. She was very warm and welcoming as well as professional. I really like having a table for the entire Leafs game. It is a wonderful experience to have a dinner at Platinum before game and then return to Platinum during the 2 intermissions for desert and more drinks. You can preorder your selections for the intermissions. The restaurant keeps your table for the entire game. I look forward to more Platinum dining experience during future Leafs games.

Decent food but very expensive fine dining in a prime location. If you are entertaining clients or have a corporate expense account, I would not hesitate to come here. The service is good and the meal could be a lot worse. But if you are just a normal person enjoying a game at SBA, any decent selection will set you back $200+ unless you're extremely selective with your ordering. Recommend you make a reservation a week or so in advance, as when I checked the day before there were no more spots available online. We ordered the striploin (12 oz, $87) and burger ($44). Still water was another $10 - our mistake that we didn't just ask for tap. Including tax and tip, it was just shy of $200. The rest of the menu didn't really tickle our fancy so we definitely could have done the meal for cheaper if we didn't go with the steak, but we probably won't have another chance to dine here so figured we'd pick whatever we actually wanted. There were some other entrees around $50, but not sure the taste or portion size of those. The burger was decent but the steak was actually very good, in my opinion. The service was a lot faster than expected but we also told our waiter that we wanted to see the puck drop, which is probably different than most people dining here. We were in and out within an hour.

I'm not trying to trash this place, but a warning to first-timers; there isn't a huge selection on the menu, and the least you'll pay for a steak dinner is $87 before tax & tip. Way more than I expected. This dining experience is NOT for those who have to check how much room is on their credit card (like me) before ordering! The Platinum Club has a nice vibe to it, with great furniture and fixtures, and the staff were very nice. Especially Julia!!!!! This wonderful young lady was serving in the bar area, and was incredibly patient and accommodating. I took my son in to check it out and grab dinner before the Raptors/Cavs game, but I was overwhelmed by the menu pricing. For the first time in my life, I had to explain to our server (Julia) that I just couldn't afford to eat here, due to recent events. Julia was totally empathetic and understanding. She also made it feel much less embarrassing to have to walk out without eating, and refused to let me pay for the sodas my son and I had. While I won't be back to the Platinum Club anytime soon, I'm sure I'll catch up with Julia to express my gratitude at some point. My recommendation for a much more reasonably-priced alternative that's close by, would be The Keg on The Esplanade. I hear the bartender there is just as wonderful as Julia! 😉

Never a bad meal. Service super choices great. Although expensive as everything these days you get what you pay for Wish wagyu was on menu more often. It was delicious as was the aboriginal night meal. I love the fact at halftime dessert is waiting as ordered along with your favorite beverage Always courteous staff

We were so excited to come here. A great dinner setting for the game. Everything was lovely even though they messed up our reservation to start. I can get over the fact that the food and drinks were outrageously priced. But it’s hard to get over the fact that the waiter snubbed me and was rude at times. Very disappointing for the amount of money we paid. I still gave him a good tip even though it nearly killed me to do so. This was our first time here and we were so excited about the experience so it’s quite disappointing that I left with a bad taste in my mouth.

The ideal location for a pregame meal along with the convenience of a table at halftime to enjoy drinks and dessert was worth the price. Although the service was a little slow, the food was appetizing and I look forward to dining here again.
