Pizzeria da Mario Kensington

Great place when you’re starving at midnight! It’s very casual though. Don’t expect restaurant service. They’re open late, the pizza is good is served quickly. Pizzas are large and reasonably priced. You can also get a slice if you don’t want whole pizza. We tried Pizza de Mario and Pepperoni. Both very good, a little salty though.

I paid 20 dollars for the small margarita pizza which was 15 plus tax on top of that I gave 15 percent tip but that counter guy gave me 5 cent back🤣even that store was empty not too much work pressure as well. I understand this industry but this kind of service is really bad. I was like are you serious if you need you can keep all but giving 5 cent back is like scrap. Service is not good but thanks that was my first and last time here.My rating is based upon my experience may be it can be good for others.

One of the best pizzerias in the city. The Mille funghi and the Diavolo are my favorites. 10/10 would recommend. The staff is very kind as well.

🥹☺️ we have been coming back to this place 3 years in a row and it has been the same every time. Quality has always been amazing and truly it’s one of the best pizza I’ve had that isn’t filling and gross and greasy 🥹🥰

I'm making it a ritual to try new places everytime I stumble around Kensington Market and I'm so glad I went here. The Salami slice is so friggin good. Paper thin crust. Delicious cheese and toppings. Would absolutely come back.

Great Pizza found in a great location. Open late and the service was just as good as the pizza. I was lucky enough to share a seat on the patio with MJ from Toronto's once landmark, The Big Slice!

“Great late-night spot for pizza that gets the job done.” I got their Diavola. The ingredients are good quality, and the pizza is well-prepared, though it was a bit saltier than I expected. It’s fantastic that they stay open late! So I’m not complaining! Overall, it’s a solid choice for late-night takeout pizza. Note: They were out of slices, so ended up getting the 12”. Highly recommended checking ahead.

Some seating inside and a decent patio outside. The employees are always so kind and polite to me. I absolutely LOVE their pepperoni and cheese slice. It is a soft slice that may look unassuming but when you put it into your mouth, you realize this is unique and delicious. I don't think anybody in Toronto makes a pepperoni slice that tastes this good. I am totally serious, pizza is my game and I make a lot of it myself. Any pizza lovers in the city searching for something special should give it a try. I find it hard to not stop in for a slice when I pass by so I eat here at least twice a month. I can't write what it tastes like, you gotta get here and try it. You will love it.
