Pizzaiolo

Ordered pizza for a party, asked for refund he insisted on giving us a replacement pizza both were burnt. He said thats how they are made but its cheese so it shouldnt be burned i asked for a refund again, he hung up on and now we are here leaving a review about our experience. Hopefully this is helpful for any first time orders!

Friendly staff that made a great vegan pizza. (Thanks for the vegan options). I would have liked a little herbs and apices, but the toppings were generous and the pizza was served hot and crust was perfect. This place is has a couple of tables but it’s not a cozy hang out joint, more of a take out style. But the staff were cool and helpful.

Another bad experience with Pizzaiolo. I had ordered via their mobile app (and paid) and since the pizza did not arrive after almost 90 mins, called the store to check on the order. I was told their online applications are down and they never got the order at the store. So they took my order now in the phone and said they will deliver. Inspite of me communicating the additional toppings that I had paid for, the delivered pizza did not have the additional toppings. The store also told me that I will get a call from their manager at the earliest (no calls till now). I need to know how I can get my money back for the additional toppings I have paid for.

They open at 11am but didn’t have any pizza ready until 11:34am. They also skimp a bit on the pepperoni. Will not be back.

Very nice atmosphere, great options for vegetarians. I got the spinotta and was very delicious. Good gourmet pizza and nice date spot. Would recommend.

The place is clean, the service is good and friendly, fair price and the pizza is delicious. If you’re walking around street ville, one slice of pizza while walking it is a great option

We had ordered here regularly for several months. Every Saturday. Their gluten free crust is really delicious and meets my dietary needs without sacrificing taste. This past weekend we ordered on a Friday night and everything about the experience was awful. The large pizza my partner ordered. Was not at all a large. And my pizza, the herbed tomatos were so coated in garlic that it physically hurt my mouth to eat. Leaving a lot of my pizza inedible. I tried to sort this out with customer service online but they are horrible to deal with. The pizza I order is $30 for a medium, I expect it to be worth the money I’m spending. If I wanted to throw $30 in the garbage I’d go to pizza pizza. We have spent no less than $50 here almost every week. But we will not be coming back. We will go out of our way to another location or find a new pizza company. Editing to 2 stars - if I was rating my interaction with the manager of this location alone I would give it 5 stars. A credit was offered however I will not be accepting it and will be taking my business elsewhere due to dietary concerns.

I've tried so many pizza joints but no one has beat Pizzaiolo when it comes to the price/quality ratio. I also appreciate the consistency over the years; whether it's a slice I used to grab Downtown or a full pizza I would order in Mississauga, it was always done right! This location in particular has a lovely staff and I truly appreciate the excellent service. Keep it up 🙂💪🏼
