Such a great AYCE pizza place for students! Their lunch student discount is so affordable and covers almost the exact same item as the dinner menu. My favourite is the maru pizza; it has corn and cheese, super thin crust that makes it melt in your mouth. Tyrobbokki is a bit spicy but it balances with their fried chicken. Spaghetti is pretty good but the cheese gets cold so you would have to eat it quickly. Service is fast and there are lots of seats indoors. Will visit again!

I came here for the AYCE pizza special and would not recommend it. Both the service and food quality were terrible. Here’s a recap of my experience from beginning to end: 1.We arrived at 12:48 PM and were told they had already stopped serving chicken wings, which seemed strange since the restaurant opened at 12:00 PM. As we ate, we noticed other tables being served wings. We asked a neighboring table—who sat down as we were finishing up—and they confirmed they were allowed to order wings. When we brought this up to the manager, she apologized and claimed they were busy and had “forgotten” to inform us when they restocked. While she did reduce our meal prices as compensation, the experience left a bad impression. 2. For our group of six, they provided just one small side dish (corn, radish, and pickled cucumber). Thinking it was a mistake, we asked for more, but they told us refills were only available after we finished the first portion. We quickly finished it so the other half of our group could try, but when we requested a refill, they said only the radish could be refilled. This made no sense—there were only three pieces of cucumber to begin with! 3. The spaghetti was awful—worst than 99-cent spaghetti from CNE. To make matters worse, it was served cold. While they reheated it for us, the overall quality didn’t improve. 4. Although I usually love cheese, the amount on their pizza was excessive and completely overwhelmed the dish. 5. Portion sizes were inconsistent. The first time we ordered a dish, the portions were small, so we reordered. However, the second portion was significantly larger than the first. The manager, who served us, treated our table noticeably worse than the others around us. When we brought up the issue with the chicken wings, her attitude changed entirely, but by then, the damage was done. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t return—even at a lower price.

I tried the Cheese Maru at Pizza Maru in Toronto, and it was amazing. The pizza had the perfect balance of rich, gooey cheese and a crispy crust that made every bite so satisfying. The layers of melted cheese were generous and creamy, making it an indulgent treat. If you’re a cheese lover, this pizza is definitely worth trying!!!!

Takeout review: Pretty tasty pizza with Korean flavours. Chewy dough that’s pretty unique. The bulgogi flavour was a little like getting ground beef on your pizza. A little expensive for a small pizza. The signature oven baked wings come in a sweet and spicy sauce; definitely reminds you of Korean fried chicken sauce.

The holy honey sweet potato pizza with corn was an absolute delight! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. The sweet potatoes, roasted to golden perfection, brought a savory-sweet depth of flavor that paired beautifully with the natural sweetness of the corn. The combination of these ingredients created a harmonious balance of earthiness and lightness, with each bite offering a satisfying contrast of textures. The flavors melded together effortlessly, making each slice feel both comforting and refreshing. It was a unique and mouthwatering take on pizza that left me craving more with every bite! Definitely worth trying if you're a potato lover!

It was my first time eating here and I would absolutely come back. We ordered the monster pepperoni and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. The crust was the perfect level of crisp while still being fluffy. The cheese was some of the best cheese on pizza I’ve ever tried. The staff were also attentive and very sweet. Highly recommend!

The entrance to this location is a little hidden, but don't miss out! We had a really great meal here. The waitress (Juyeon according to the receipt) was really nice, helping us figure out the menu and making suggestions. We ordered two 13" pizzas (Korean bulgogi and Crazy Chicken Shrimp) and I would definitely get those again. We also ordered a 10" holy honey pizza and a chili toppoki which were pretty good. Service was great - they even gave us a complimentary baked cheese spaghetti which was really good. I've been to other locations and this one was definitely my favourite! Will be coming back for sure 😊

This is my first time trying Pizza Maru, which is a Korean style pizza place and trying this different type of fusion for Pizza was very eye-opening as well because it showed how Pizza can be so sweet, salty with different combinations that you’ve never thought about before. Overall the place itself is located very nicely parking can be a bit of a problem because of the location, but it is very accessible. Moving onto the interior. There was a very nice type of ambiance where it does. Give a vibe of. Yes we are in a Korean style pizza place. Service was relatively fast and overall accommodating. I would hopefully expect that coming for the first time some of the servers would explain what type of pizza would be better, or just give recommendations in general to somebody who has never been to a place like that. Now going to the actual pizza it was made very well and the ingredients being used were also a very good combination that led to it overall good eating experience. They also provided sides that enhance the flavour of the pizza creating a more authentic Korean style experience which is why I would get this place the rating I am giving it. The pricing is a little bit high but overall, if you do get one pizza, it does fill up 2 to 3 people so based on that it would be a very good range of pricing. overall, I will be coming back here to try their vast menu that they have which when you do go to the place and you do see when you want to order you will see the amount of options that they have and they did take me a good 10 minutes to find an option that looked like I would enjoy. That is the only downfall is that there are a lot of options but it can be a bonus also.
