I recently had the chance to check out Pitstop Burger, a new spot that opened up recently, and I must say it left a great impression! The chef, who was super friendly and down-to-earth, made sure to come over to our table and personally greet us, which really added a nice touch to the visit. It’s clear he’s passionate about what he does, and it showed in the food. Speaking of food, the burgers were absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor — clearly made with fresh ingredients. What really sets Pitstop Burger apart is its late hours — they’re open until 2am, which is fantastic for those late-night cravings. Not many places around here stay open that late, so it’s a real gem for night owls. Highly recommend!

Straightforward and very solid Smashburger; 3oz patties, nicely seasoned, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and "pitstop" sauce - which as you might imagine is quite similar to Mac sauce. Bun reminds me of a martens potato roll, nice and soft. Fries don't seem to be made in house but are crispy and delicious, so I take no issue with this. Service was friendly and attentive. I'll be back to try their hotdog and poutine based on this experience.
