Pita Nutso

This is by far my favourite shawarma /pita place. Food is absolutely amazing! Took my friend for the first time today and she agreed.

I got a shawarma. It’s only one size and for the price I would normally get a large from other shawarma places. This was medium. The taste was average. Not bad but not amazing. The man who took my order rushed me and didn’t relay my order. When I pointed out I wanted all toppings because I saw he didn’t write it, he said ‘yes yes’. Then when I saw they didn’t add anything to the shawarma but lettuce I told him and he said “well you were looking at your phone”. That’s because my order was written there! He was not nice and didn’t rectify it.

I don’t claim to be a shawarma expert but I have tried quite a few shawarma places in my lifetime. I can confidently say that this places serves one DELICIOUS shawarma wrap. I basically just got every topping minus bell pepper (actually I don’t even remember if that was a topping option but either way no thank you to bell pepper). Every bite was a wonderful experience. The wrap had a great amount of chicken, so you definitely get your money’s worth and it’s so yummy, not a single piece was dry. An honourable mention to the hot sauce. It’s not crazy spicy but it packs a decent punch while still being flavourful. Overall, the wrap is one yummy hefty boy. I might have gained two pounds after this but it’s worth it! Highly recommend!!

I've been coming here for almost 15 years and it's one of the best places for shawarma (maybe the best). I usually get their shawarma or half and half. I strongly recommend eating here and don't be afraid of asking for extra garlic and hot sauce!

Increased prices & decreased portions. It used to be $11.50 for a large on the rocks in a big container, now it’s $14.50 for a small container of the same order. They increased the prices while shrinking the size of the container in half. In addition they skimp out on how much meat they actually give you. Truly a shame from what this place used to be. Save yourself some money and get yourself more food by going to another shawarma place👎

Best pita nutso I have been to. The food is always delicious and it always tastes fresh. They always put a large quantity of chicken so you get what you pay for here. I would suggest getting extra hot sauce as it has a wonderful taste in addition to the extra spice.

I wish they had a no star policy. Came here because it had good reviews. I fasted all day and was looking forward to eating some good food. I ordered beef shawarama salad. They gave me in a take out box, though i asked to eat here. No probablem. But the beef was cold and dry and hard. I asked the cashier that i Dont like what you gave me, it’s not edible. He said what can i do about it. It is the way it is. We make it fresh. He pulled the container from the bottom and handed me the beef. It was cold and dry and hard. I said i was expecting shawarma beef. To make it fresh. You didn’t even warm up my beef. The guy said it is what it is. They didn’t even try to make it right. Or replace it with other meat. Why is am taking my time to write the review while am in the store? Because i paid $20 for this plate.

****Edit: 2022 experience - very unfortunate to hear that there is a new owner/management, quality and quantity of food has significantly deteriorated. Will not be returning and going to the streetsville location.**** Hands down the best service, friendly staff and our go-to place for Shawarma. The staff are always friendly and approachable and the shawarma is always made at its best every time. Quality and quantity at it's best especially for their price. They seem to have the regulars that know them and the staff always greets them - great atmosphere and we have been going here constantly for more than 1 year. It was actually introduced by my boyfriend. I also love their garlic sauce. There is parking since it's in a small plaza.
