Pita Land Shawarma - Burnhamthorpe

I recently had the pleasure of trying the chicken shawarma at Pita Land, and it was absolutely fantastic. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Every ingredient, from the fresh vegetables to the warm pita, was incredibly fresh and vibrant. What impressed me even more was how quickly the food was prepared without compromising on quality or taste—it was served piping hot and ready to enjoy. On top of that, the customer service was excellent—friendly, efficient, and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The combination of great food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes Pita Land a standout in the area. I’ll definitely be returning for more delicious shawarma soon! Highly recommend it! I go here often and today was a terrible experience. Usually there is an older man working (maybe manager) he wasn’t there today and the two employees didn’t know what they were doing. My wrap was slapped together horribly. It didn’t taste good. Very disappointed and won’t be back unless that older man is there

I got the gyro wrap, it was delicious. The place was clean but rather bleak and the workers were sweet and very polite but didn't seem very energetic (understandable). Overall I had a tasty meal though the atmosphere wasn't the best.

I was looking for something light for lunch since I noticed my stomach was not so well. Decided to try something from them for the first time. Here are my thoughts. The lady that helped me was very nice, polite and patient. Their chicken is really taste. I’m not sure if I was lucky or arrived the right time, but it had a lot of flavour. Since I’m a veggie guy, I like a lots of veggies on my shawarma or burger or whatever I’m eating. And this was the downside for me. I felt like they were almost measuring the amount of veggies that was going to my wrap. I will for sure try again though and ask for more. Their wrap is delicious. The environment has nothing special. It is a regular Shawarma place. It seemed clean though which is a good thing. They also have tables, around 5 or 6 if I’m not mistaken.

We visited Pitaland recently and were blown away by the amazing number of items like falafels, shawarma, salads, poutines, potato bowls, hummus and more. To top it all, they offer many different juices like Mango and Carrot, Mango, Pineapple and more. The ingredients looked really fresh and each of the dishes was made with utmost care providing the true Middle Eastern flavours. The service was prompt and the place looked really well managed and maintained.

Had a chicken wrap here once and it was pretty good! I recent moved to the area so this may be my new go to shawarma joint. I always loved the Eglinton location and the Hurontario/Bonaire location in Brampton. This place is consistent with the other locations I’ve been to.

Pita Land. Big fan of this place, and still eat their shawarmas occasionally, but this experience of trying different menu items was a let down. Have rated 4 stars for generally good shawarmas, but this review is specific to the below item. Chicken Shawarma potato bowl. I'm a big fan of Pita Land's garlic potatoes, that come as a side with their combo meals or could be ordered separately. Awesome taste. So based on that premise I decided to order their famous full meal potato bowl. It comes with the same garlic potatoes plus a lot of toppings including meat of your choice, veggies, and sauces. Unfortunately all these combinations resulted in weird taste. The add ons completely diminished the great taste of the garlic potatoes. So another menu item bites the dust for me, I'll be sticking to the normal garlic potatoes next time.
